Ooh you beat me to it *Louise* I have it too. I was looking at your blog last night and your cross stitch is lovely, how do you cross stitch so fast? I am still stuck on that New Stitches Highland picture I have only done a few inches and it is so boring maybe I will find some smaller projects to do in between.

Gawd yeah it is hard going isn't it! All that blue on blue

My top tips for speedy stitching are a water eraseable pen and a lap frame (so you can use two hands)

Are HAED designs hard to do? Might be interested.

I think my next deisgn is going to be Dimensions "I carried you" which has the Footprints poem on it. I bought a book the other week from a CS called Inspirational Cross Stitch thinking the pattern would be in it - but you've guessed - it wasn't. If anyone can help me out I would be extremely grateful.

Off to the year 6 prom for the school that I am a governor at tonight. Have to say that I can think of much better things to be doing with my time. Never mind will check in with you all later.

I can't take credit for that completed one - I only have the chart, someone on FB stitched it

HEAD designs aren't 'hard'....you just need to have a lot of love for the piece you choose as they take a long time to stitch.

I am on my third one. My first (Vision at the Lake) took seven solid months stiching every day. My second one (Stealing the Moon) was a bit smaller and took 3 months I'm not so dedicated to Touched by Magic but I have had a lot of other stuff do do.

After wading through my cross stitch mags, I think I am going to scan my favourite charts and sell them on. I have far too many and I would like some newer mags and kits of course.
