OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH i had such a crush on Mark Owen when they first started in the 90's, my bedroom was plastered wall to ceiling with posters. I even bought all the TT official mags, probably worth something now, lol.

your not the only one, I used to love Mark too, I was verging on obsessed! Now I'm more a Jason woman! I have all the official magazines too and pretty much everything they sold. I used to do jobs for everyone so I could get money to buy more. I was always shattered at school because I was babysitting most nights!

Linda. That piece by your Mum is lovely and I hope I can still stitch when I'm 87. Wishing her all the best with her op today.

Bubbles. What brilliant bargains!! I have taken a note of the charts you are after and will keep an eye out for them.

Thank you, thats very kind of you.

Linda I hope your mums op goes ok today, I will be thinking of you both.

Morning all, received a v.exciting e-mail yesterday from WOXS. I sent them an e-mail of my 1st card (the one posted a couple of pages ago) that I gave my friend for her wedding, and they are printing it in the magazine!!! I am super excited, I almost cried when I read the e-mail, I just hope the happy couple like it as much as WOXS did :)

Welcome to the cafe blue eyed girl :)

Thank you. It is over, don't know how it went but now I can cross stitch without thinking that I should be studying instead (until the next round starts).

    ARGGGG GIRLIESSSSSS GIRLIESSS GIRLIESSS..........................
............. look what was waiting in my inbox!!!!!!
Hi, Many thanks for getting in touch and telling us all about your club, Cross Stitch Cafe! I'm very happy to report that you have been chosen as our Club of the Month in the September edition of Cross Stitch Crazy!

I was wondering whether I could ask you a few more questions so that we can run a little story about you? Is that OK?

    1) When did you set up the group and why did you decide on a virtual club rather than a real-life club?
    2) How did you begin recruiting members?
    3) What's the age range of your members and are you all UK based?
    4) Any funny/uplifting stories you can share with us?
    5) You mentioned the quilt joint stitch project which sadly went missing... Will you do any more joint projects do you think? And what would you do with the finished article?
    6) Are there any plans to ever meet up in real life?
    7) What are the benefits of being part of an online club over a real-life club?
    8) Can you sum up the ethos of the club for me in 3 words?

    Thanks very much. If

you could send me some pics of some of the things you / the club have stitched that would be great! Warm regards Cross Stitch Crazy

    any help would be great!!!!!

any perticular pics you are REALLLYYY proud of that you woud like me to send??

any stories you think we can send - i don't want to offend anyone.....or bring back emotions people would rather forget.

(will catch up on this thread and the going ons when i have come down from cloud 9!)

OMG WOW!!! I am definitely buying that issue :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Once you have come down from the ceiling chicky, let us know which Q's you need a hand with :D:D:D I'm just running some stories through my head that I can remember, but for some sadder ones I guess it would be up to the original posters to decide if they wanted them mentioned?

The pic I am most proud of is my Vision at the lake which is the first HAED that I tackled in 2009 after being told about the company from forum members - it was support and encouragement from people on here that kept me motivated to finish it. :):T
