Wow, some great pics since I was last on here.

Bikerchick - you look gorgeous in your wedding pics.

Scanning through I seem to have missed a link for some other wedding pics, sorry. Hope you had a lovely day.

Chicky - reading that letter made me feel really bad for not even having a catch up on here for the last week. You summed us up so well. I'm sure they'll print that. I wasn't part of the group last year - what charity was the quilt for?

I've only done a tiny bit of stitching since I was last on and really need to get a move on with the fathers day cards! The business has suddenly taken off - I have so many cakes to complete before I go on holiday though this week only a snooker table and a 50th birthday one! ....There's a possibility of a 32" x 24" cake for the 24th of this month - if I get that no stitching for me til I go on holiday!

Also had DH birthday, a weekend visit from the inlaws and a BBQ for both sets of parents to get together (it rained!!!).

....Thanks for the tip about the gold needles for going abroad - think I'll invest.

Anyway, I'll shut up for now!

Welcome to Emma and hugs to everyone who needs some xx

MY czar update, starting page B :rotfl: The white bit at the top looks slightly different where the pages join up, a bit like when you do only 10x10 squares. I'm sure it'll be fine once its all stitched and washed, just me being fussy :)

hi everyone, i'm still having internet connection issues, and for some reason cant see all your pictures. grr. anyway, what i can see looks awesome.

i think my last post has gone astray... either that or it didnt 'send' due to slow connection. ho hum. one down side of net problems is having a bit of spare time with the computer...i've now managed to make my scanner work fabulously! so i'm sitting here waitng for pages to load and scanning a few charts from a library book - must be legal, i'd never be able to stitch them before they needed returning!

CHICKY - that letter is amazing! when i can i will print it out and stick it in my diary to remind myself when i'm 80 what a fantastic thing we had here... not that i'll need reminding... we'll still be going strong i'm sure!!:T

Im sure when we are all 80 we will still be here................ it will just be a lot bigger cos all the kids and grandkids will be members too!

As long as you have some decent light and something white underneath like a towel, then its not so bad :) I use the chart not a towel as its cream coloured and can make out the holes fine.

Yey, manage some stitching yesterday - have finished my dad Fathers Day card; just got FIL's to do now.

Hi blue_eyed_girl, I LOVE Michael Powells stuff - have one of the Venice scenes in my stash to do at some point.

Oooh, we've just had the most massive crack of thunder - saw the lightening come down outside the house. Will go and check my neighbour is OK, poor thing is terrified of it.

I hope it makes it to me! I love a good lightning show. A few mins ago we had a short but heavy shower.....that's all so far.
