Attention all Margaret Sherry fans!!!
Head to the shops (I guess Smiths?) on Friday for a special publication featuring her designs.
Price is £9.99:eek:
I saw mention of this on the Cross Stitcher facebook page - from the pics it showed of the front cover, I couldn't see if there were any new designs but just a repeat of old designs that have been featured in the different mags over the years but i guess to have them all in one chart book will be very handy and I suspect the mag will sell like hot cakes!0 -

Yet another stitcher apologising for being AWOL. Been spending time with Mum to calm her down a bit before her first cataract operation tomorrow afternoon (the worse of her 2 eyes).
She's pinning all her hopes on it being successful because she can't see properly to do her cross stitch at the moment and she's got loads of kits she's itching to start. She produces some lovely pieces considering she's 87 years old. This is one she did last year:

Please keep your fingers crossed for mum tomorrow afternoon.

I'm back again, I had to tell you all of my luck today a stitching shop must have gone bust locally as my local charity shop had about 70 kits and loads of trinket boxes (2 each), a clock, a stitchable footstool and even as necklace to stitch. I was just beaten to a gorgeous john clayton kit but bought these:
a vervaco cushion for £5
This one I need help with, its was £4 and has beads with it but no pattern, it is labelled as SUNFLOWERS CSC 18803. I got it cos I love the ideas. Anyone any ideas how I can find the chart?
Evenweave for £1!
a beaded rose for £2
A spring cosy kit for £1.50
and
I found this one its by dimensions and its called majestic peacock (selling for £50 in some shops!) but I cant find anywhere to just buy the chart.
I have so much to do now!!

Marru. Good luck with your exam today!
Linda. That piece by your Mum is lovely and I hope I can still stitch when I'm 87. Wishing her all the best with her op today.
Bubbles. What brilliant bargains!! I have taken a note of the charts you are after and will keep an eye out for them.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
