Not been posting much, life has been hectic but still popping in for a read from time to time - haven't done any stitching, but after next week things should get back to normal

My current project is making huge posters for my nephew - he is a page boy at the local gala next week and my sister is dressing the outside of the house with a lego theme. My job is making the giant posters to cover the windows and I need to decorate the garden fence and make it look like a lego wall.....I have to admit I would rather be stitching :rotfl:

i was intreguied as to which one..... couldn't remember any.... then i remembered I have 2 (ok 4) facebook accounts.... MSE Chickywiggle (which is used for competitions and not a lot else... and hubby has access to it for !!!!! Wars and just accepts any group/ page requests it gets sent) which I guess is the one you saw!!
Then I have mine... which should also show up under just 'chickywiggle' search (ETA - just looked.... it doesn't..it USED too! ok... me http://en-gb.facebook.com/chickywiggle) .... right alongside a chap with an extremly dodgy name which made me laugh lots!!
then of course both the boys have their own pages......


ohh *louise* that lego thing sounds... I would like to say fun...but also tricky and monotonous.

hope all are well, boys off this week for 1/2 term so not much stitching being done

Am starting my next x stitch finally!- its a raymond briggs father christmas dmc kit-the father christmas from "the snowman" film (so here's hoping i finish it by christmas ha ha!) At the moment am stitching his beard, and white on white aida is driving me insane (as are my 3.5yr old twins!)

I have taken photos of all my "bank hol/royal wedding" stitching presents i did-but i still have 1 left to give out next weekend, so once this is done i will put the photos on my fb account and link them here. (or i may be really brave and try to go on flicker/photobucket!).

Hope all is well with you all......oh and did you hear we get another royal stitching bank hol day extra again next year for the queens jubilee! I was amazed how i completed 1 whole present for someone that day whilst watching kate and will get wed!

i found a cheap cross stitch site called cross-stitch-corner.co.uk. I haven't ordered from them yet, but they give 10% off when you order 2 or more kits and postage is included in the price. Once I decide what i really really need (want) i'm going to give them a try

Hya all, not done much stitching lately, been sewing, patch-working and knitting, as well as working etc.

Love the email chicky, thanks for writing it.

Really must get back to the Elegant Lady...determined to get her finished by mid-June, then I can get going with the Astronomer again...though I may be making something for my SisIL's 60th...have to have a think about that.

Up far too late, so need ot get off to bed...will post piccies of my progress sometime over the weekend.

Lovely email Chicky, captures everything this group is about :T

I have done hardly anything on the wedding gift I have been unwell all week and it came to a head yesterday. I will be packing it up tomorrow night but hope to do something on it tommorow. I am then off on holiday for a week but will be taking some of my new cross stitch project with me to complete while traveling etc. So hopefully I will have a lot to update next Saturday :T
