Bad news for me - i just discovered that the money i was saving in one of those ceramic saving wellington boot style box - all the notes got stolen right from it !!! And it was stashed in my bedroom - very upset about this right now, still dealing with my house mate who i suspect one of her mates stole the money
So back to square one for me - and i had already just booked my xmas holiday before discovery this too, so heart breaking
Hi Foxy,
Sorry to hear that, I know just how you feel. Mine was stolen last year and I was totally disheartened. This year I have put all my money into a bank account. So each month I transfer the amount to cover the days in the month. Its worked for me and I am now up to £304 which I think is pretty much on track. Hope you get this sorted.

Foxy that's awful....
Hope you manage to find the culprit & get your money back:( - and yes, I would involve the police too.
Just popping in to say I'm bowing out .... I did restart the tin in September but I think I need to get my budgeting skills sorted out once and for all and so the money is going into a "pot" in my bank just now until I get the hang of it.
I will be back next year (if you'll have me!) as hopefully I should be much more organised by then (never budgeted properly in my life and I need to get it sorted to remain DF).
I'll pop back towards the end of the year to see who's made it (noticed Ali has already!):)
