The Reading, Oracle, store had plenty left just before close today (so tomorrow morning there will be a good selection still). I got a gift box with a couple of bath bombs, plus separately a bubble bar, lip scrub and face scrub all in xmasy scents for just over 9 quid. Do add it all up in your head before checking out, as something didn't come up as half off and the sales lady didn't notice it but I did.0

I think the Lush sale was much better this year than with the gift boxes and grab bags. I don;t think the stores had as much stock left as they have done in previous years, but this way I could choose exactly what I wanted and wasn't left with loads I am not keen on. Cannot understand why people said it was rubbish - I got a much better deal this year I think and it was fairer on everyone, not just those who push the hardest or grab loads of big boxes to sell on Ebay that they don't really want :-)
Really pleased with what I got. I bought a Winter Garden, 2 x Ballistics tins, Snow Fairy Shower Gel, Lip Scrubs x2 (one for me and one for daughter), Imogen Rose perfume (also for daughter), Snow Fairy Lip Tint (for daughter), You Snap the Whip, Running to the Embassy, Soft Touch, Gingerbread House bubble bar x4, Candy Came Bubble bar x2, Cinders ballistic x2, Satsumo Santa x3, Bearded Lady Bubble Bar.
Came to £64.21 (Daughter paid £10 for hers, son gave me £15 for Christmas to spend at sale and I had a £10 Lush voucher) so all in all spent £29 of my own cash on the sale goodies (a far cry from the £75 I spent last year and I seem to have more products I will actually use this year to show for it - only 2 bars of soap this year! Yay!)
Would have been nicer if the lady in front hadn't been greedy and grabbed both Wonderful Christmas Time boxes that were left, but then I would probably have ended up with products I didn't want, or already have enough of (like 9-5) so probably worked out better with what I did get0 -
what a croc of crap. I went in, expecting snow fairy to be half price, and it wasnt! So ended up buying it full price.. the gift boxes were overpriced STILL and the check out assistant was rude when i said "but on the website it says that all christmas goods are halfprice" and snapped that it was only things made in october (AKA not snow fairy, which, as far as i am aware, is a christmas product?!).
I think lush is overpriced.. i stopped buying the conditioner as it was too expensive for what it was and now im defo not buying anything from there again.0 -
I went to the Manchester Arndale store this morning 45 mins before they opened and got a Winter Wonderland box reduced from £100 to £50 and I paid with £50 of vouchers so I'm really pleased ....
however, they only had 2 WW boxes a few £19.95 boxes and a few £9.95 boxes and they were gone within the first 2 minutes with everyone in the shop moaning about how little there was considering last year they were overflowing with stuff.
Winterwonderland original price is £50,you should have got it for £25!!0 -
Think I would prefer the buy goods for a certain amount and get something free like previous years but limit it to one per customer, I didnt go this year as I had far to much to do and plans to go shopping with family tomorrow anyway. Love lush but its too expensive to buy all the time and its a 50+ journey for me to my nearest one.0

I was in the Carlisle store at about 11.30 and managed to get 3 gift boxes which were originally 24.95, 14.95 and 13.95. (can't remember the names of them) also got a bath ballistic and 2 bubble bars, total came to £30 which made me super happy!0

Thanks for this. unfortunately due to the stupid site not working, i cant seem to be able to make a new account and get an activation email.
Once i do, though, im printing it out and marching to the store on tues to have a few words.0 -
Inside the xmas boxes is a booklet with a 10% off coupon on the back. It says it's not valid in December, but I noticed some people mentioned using vouchers -- is this the voucher? I wonder if they'd take it against sale items?0

I went into Brighton store just after 2pm, it was fairly busy but loads of stuff left and no manic behaviour either. Quite a few boxes left but didn't see any Winter Wonderland onesunshinedays wrote: »but I was annoyed seeing a few people walking around with their basket full to the brim with christmas bubble bars.. Seems a little unfair to others as no doubt they'll all just end up on ebay
Hey, I bought 15 bubble bars and some other ballistics because it's a great bargain and intend to use it for myself!
Don't judge people because they bought loads. I saved my Christmas-gift-money to spend them at Lush and for someone who uses their products a lot it was a great bargain of bubble bars prices just over a £1!
What's unfair in that?0 -

They may have had lots of gift boes, but they didn't have any normal stock made before October. I looked for skincare, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.
I just mention this in case anyone else has a wasted trip.0
