Can any Lush fan give me their opinion on the lip scrubs please? My lips are terribly dry at the moment (cold weather/central heating/been ill etc etc) and although I've bought a job lot of Vaseline, I do often think they could use a scrub like I use on my skin from time to time. Tbh, I didn't realise there actually was such a thing until I saw one in the lush booklet that came with my Xmas gift box and spotted one in there.

Do they work, are they effective?

I've got the Mint Julips which is fantastic for making lips feel smooth and soft but it's verrrrry scrubby. The Christmas LipDip one is made of sherbet so it's not as rough and is a bit more difficult to use but tastes amazing and again makes lips nice and soft. I'd also say try their Lip Service lip balm, it's worked wonders for my chapped lips. HTH a little!

You could try a home made version looking at the ingrediants on the lush website - the main one is sugar as an exfoliant with a bit of oil to hold it all together and moisturise.

They are quite effective but I think using sugar and vaseline is pretty much the same. Or scrubbing them gently with a toothbrush :] Carmex is great for dry/chapped lips, I swear by it!

Does anyone have any experience of complaining to Lush? I bought the Lush Legends box which I was over the moon with until I opened it - the Glorious Mud body mask was completely broken into bits and as a result the box and it's contents were covered in brown powder. Not only have I lost one of the products but all the soaps are covered in the mud and so was my duvet cover and carpet where I'd opened the box. I can't believe such a crumbly product was left loose in the box to clatter against the various tins and bottles! Most of the bath bombs were also damaged but still usable. I understand that they like to keep packaging to a minimum but I do think certain things need at least a paper bag or something.

Does anyone know how I go about making a complaint to Lush?

Not lush related but I have found that the little round blue blistex tub is amazing! Esp when you get the redness under the nose and lip, I've used this for the past 3 winters now and not suffered at all from any of the problems I did before inc the cracks in the lips. I always get mine from Boots, only about £2.50 x

01202 641 006 or email customercare@lush.co.uk, they're very helpful. I've had to complain about broken items a couple of times and they were very nice about sorting it out.

Did you notice if any of the soaps or bath bombs were left in the sale they had some on Tuesday

They had quite a lot of Xmas soaps left - I remember seeing Snow Globe, the orange one and that huge round purple one hadn't even been cut up. I think they had Snow Cake left too - I love the smell of that one but it leaves my skin so dry 

Thanks for that, I'll drop them an email this afternoon 
