aww please don't let a troll (and he is a troll ;) ) put you off MSE. I know I'm not the most popular person in the lush world right now but we really are a good lot over here.

He might be a troll but he has hordes of people agreeing with him. I'm a member of both forums and I can see both sides of the story, and commented the Lush childishness was just as bad. Thank you for being kind though.

I think I'd prefer that to some of the Debenhams types! If I hear about one more size 28 plaid jacket for £8.40 I might just top myself ... :o

I'm pregnant and hormonal, I think my sense of fun has deserted me in favour of hormones :P

Birmingham this evening had some gift boxes left (wild child, happy christmas, a mid sized white christmassy one i can't remember the name of and a few others), cinders, winter, boog ballistics, candy cane and christmas eve bubble bars, snow fairy lip tint, iced wine shower jelly, gloog shower gel, mandarin, angels delight, and snowcake soap. Maybe a few other bits and pieces i've forgotten about.

:j brill, i wanna go get some more! i'm hoping they still have blonde shampoo and jungle conditioner left.

i used one of the 50% off bars tonight. well, half of one! does anyone else find even small lush bars make too many bubbles? i'm in a soft water area and half a bar does loads of bubbles, a whole one makes way too many and gets the floor wet!

Thanks for the nice words, I intend to hang about a bit so can hopefully prove I'm not 'orrid :p

I think the problem a few on the Lush Forum have (and I admit I was a bit concerned after what I'd heard on there before) was that the way the offer was being put on FB, here etc a lot of us were given the impression we were basically now standing no hope of getting the box. Many had already skipped their local shop's sales and the like to keep some pennies for this one so were a bit gutted at the prospect of missing out.

Despite being posted on HotDealsUK and on here though, looks like everyone (or maybe most?) still got a hatbox so I can't really see any probs but haven't logged onto LF since earlier, maybe there is something else.

If the people buying it are a genuine Lush lover again I don't think anyone would be bothered, but there is this ongoing thing of look at this on Ebay and someone has got a disconned or forum item at a really high and inflated price just because its harder to get hold of, when in reality you can get one easily at market value from someone on the forum often enough :)

I got through quite early on the phones today, within half an hour and normally takes a bit longer. I have to say if I missed out I would have been a bit miffed mind :D

There are nice and bad folk on the LF and I bet on here too. We've had a couple of right nasties on there before and people who've robbed others in the Swap Shop etc :(

Roll on New Year when the xmas stress is over too I think :)
