Everyone going ballistic(s) over overpriced soap wasn't worth it then :p

    I'm more of a shower person anyway:money:

I called up and managed to get 7 hat boxes. Luckily, I am really 7 people on the forum.

One for each of my 7 daughters.

Nah, I'm kidding. I'm a soap and glory girl, Lush stuff is rank, reminds me of carbolic soap.

The success of the hatbox offer has probably killed all the stocks of Christmassy products that were being used for the free stuff - if people were buying the stuff that was otherwise being given away with non-forum members' orders then they'll have to get through the old-dated products and then it'll be back to business as usual.

What amazed me was that apparently a couple of the bits of the stuff in the offer hatboxes was running low and Hilary posted to say they might need to be substituted - and someone was complaining about it. "Thanks for the offer of £60 of free stuff, but it's not the precise free stuff I want and I'll be disappointed." The mind boggles.

Still, I suppose if she doesn't like what she gets she can put it up on ebay ;)

Edit: it's after 5pm so the hatbox offer is over and it's back to the free £10 when you spend £30 and £20 WYS £50. Which is uncontroversially open to everyone and is cumulative so if you spend £80 you get £30 of stuff free.

Gees seriously, why bother to quote things and make people sound ungrateful on purpose? Myself and many on the forum have spent £30 because we want the box and the tag, nothing more we literally like having pretty boxes to put things in. Out of the whole box I was keen to try a Lip Dip as my local store had none, I don't really care about the rest of what is in it. What's wrong with being a tad disappointed if I don't get a Lip Dip?

All that's in the box will go to my Mum as its her birthday tomorrow and she tends to like a wider variety of things than I do. So I don't see what's so bad about being a little disappointed that I might not get the product I was looking forward to. Of course its still a good deal, but all the other products may as well be horse poop for the garden to me as I really am not keen on them and they will all be given away ;)

Last time I checked you didn't pay for a phone call if you got the user busy tone :p:)

Wish I'd known I could have got one of the boxes, would have maybe gone for it even though I shouldn't really be spending another £30 ;)

Really want some more Christmas Eve bubble bars but they are SO online and none in my local shop :(

I dunno if you have a bad view of the Lush Forum or not but there is a Swap Shop on there and a lot of people pick up products for other people and get paid the costs/postage via paypal. I'm not going into town til at least Friday so wouldn't like to say if I could get any or not. They had a fair few in on Sunday though...

Thanks, I have requested to join tonight so hopefully get on soon, do they usually accept quickly?

Had half of one last night and was the nicest bath yet, really want more!
