They were still showing 50% off displayed price which was £37.50. I have kept a screen shot of it.
I have had an email from them this morning that they will apply a £18.75 credit to my account if I want to re-order the hamper. Quite frankly after this, I wouldn't trust them to organise a prayer meeting in the Vatacan, so will be replying asking if they will be doing this for everyone who has been misled.
The only possible defence they can have is that they made a mistake. How evil of them. Can I help?0 -

I refer you to the previous mistakes also made with my orders which I mentioned.
Yes, it was a mistake, but they failed to rectify it on their website despite being repeatedly alerted to it. THAT is my problem with it.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

I got the celebrate for £18.75 (it arrived today and I wasn't sure it would) though my other hamper was defo cancelled.
The hamper itself is worth the money and bigger than I expected.
Short life things need eating end Jan, mid Feb, early March but the tea and coffee are end 2011 and the conserves mid 2011. And the bottle, well...
I realise that I'm really lucky to have not had this cancelled when the other was.0 -
YAY we had delivered today 2 x food lover hampers for £37.50 each, originally £150 each. However our 2 x celebration hampers were cancelled.

If you look at the site, though, where it says '50% off price shown', the '50% off' is in bold.
presumably that's meant to read '50% off - (the new) price (is) shown.
not sure it's false advertising so much as poor presentation (doubled with a glitch).0 -
Not sure where to ask this but thought an M&S Hamper thread would be OK.
If you order a hamper to be sent as a gift to someone else at a different address, if you included a gift card where would they put it please? Had a hamper arrive that didn't think I'd ordered but didn't see any card on the top (only had the invoice which I took out), if there had been a gift card where would they have put it please?
Thing is I thought I had bought a M&S Hamper so gave it to my parents for Xmas but a few days later had a card from a relative asking if I'd received the M&S goodies so the hamper must have been from them as I haven't received anything else. Am worried now that there might have been a card in the hamper although I did take the lid off the hamper a couple of times but never saw any card sitting on top.
Thanks for any replies to this and sorry if it's not the right place to ask.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
