cancelled the chocolate loves hamper but not the after dinner one. No doubt another email will be with me soon.

The way I see it is.....
They managed to sell almost ALL their 2010 hampers (with use by dates VERY near in some cases) to us MSE-ers and would have made quite a lot of money.
Then they cancelled them.
Now they are stuck with a load of almost out of date hampers that no-one will buy who knows what M&S did........and that's COSTING them money.
I think they shot themselves in the foot cancelling the orders!
BTW I was starting to get Buyers Remorse at ordering the Gourmet one at £62.50.......I am still thinking it was over priced :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
yep I ordered a gourmet also, and £62.50 was about the most I would pay ( not saying the booze might not be worth more- but to me it was worth about what I "paid" )Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0

Have just received a confirmation email from m&s and checked and the payment has gone from my account, for two of the chocoholics hampers, the other hampers I ordered were cancelled but at least I get the chocolates!0

I've been corresponsing with M&S after they refused to fulfil my order of a Celebrate hamper and escalated it to accusing them of false advertising and reporting them to Trading Standards (which I have done). They were still showing 50% off displayed price which was £37.50. I have kept a screen shot of it.
I have had an email from them this morning that they will apply a £18.75 credit to my account if I want to re-order the hamper. Quite frankly after this, I wouldn't trust them to organise a prayer meeting in the Vatacan, so will be replying asking if they will be doing this for everyone who has been misled.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0
