That's £72 more than me. :money:
But that is our big spending done for 2011 and 2011 is not even here yet!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Town seemed quite busy today, I did my bit for the economy with some irresponsible spending. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

If you made up for what I didn't spend, then I owe you a pint. However, because I don't spend, you'll have to buy it youself.
Thanks anyway. :beer:30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -
I need a loaf of bread. I`m slightly reluctant to go out and buy one, as it will probably contribute to the post-Christmas sales, and that'll never do.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0

Shame, you missed out on the "frenzy". Apparently, it was "phenominal" in the UK's shopping centres !
I must get cracking, I've got to try and think of stuff to buy before the VAT increase. The problem is I don't need or want anything. I really must try harder.
I suppose I do need some bread. Will that be going up in price after Jan 1st ? I hope so, because then I`ll have got a bargain.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -
We didn't go out to the shops yesterday because of the sales or the impending VAT increase....nope, it was because the boys were impatient and wanted to spend their money getting a few of the things they hadn't received on Christmas day. Both spent their money on non sale items....

If the information is incomplete, why do they bother broadcasting it, or if they do, tell us that the information can't be relied upon ?
Well again this is only a guess, but they probably assume the viewers have an IQ greater than 50 and so already realise that in the middle of a fluid situation any information gathered will be partial and subject to change as a more complete picture is revealed with the fullness of time.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
