If you are thinking about renting it out, you could think about a waterproof matress protector - I bought one from M&S that feels exactly like a standard matress cover, not like cheap ones I bought for the kids that were incredibly noisy if you tried to turn over.
Yes I was thinking about something like this.
I will look into getting one.

what a marvellously ironic question from an anarchist !!0 -
mattresses are expensive..i have just paid £600 for a memory foam one.....its heaven...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

I'll expect to be paying about £200-250 for my next new bed and mattress, which I expect to last me for life. I do like to look after things.0 -

One of them was a decent standard double matress.
But friends are telling me mixed messages. Some say I should bin it due to dust and mites. Others say I should get it cleaned.0
