Also m-i-l-e-s of Sanctuary £10 (now £5) tubs.... I'm sure DH will rush off to the 75% sale for me, but there's not much that I'm interested in for birthday gifts through the year. Poor job, Boots!

Popped into Watford Harlequin Boots yesterday to see what was left in readyness for the 75% sale and was rather disappointed. Not a lot left at all. Not like in previous years. Am seriously worried as I do the majority of my years gift shopping at the 75% sale.

Also haven't been boots glitch shopping for a while now. Full time work and the removal of the original thread here early last year have prevented me. Back to working part time again so hoping to get back into the swing of points and glitching! Anyone have a link to an active glitch thread on here?

Does anyone know when the 75% sale starts. There is loads of stuff at the Sprucefield shop in Lisburn, about 5 aisles full.

Hi, I think I read on the grabbit thread that it was possibly going to start on Wednesday the 12th.

Last year it was Wed the 20th ish if the 20th was the Wed, so that makes this year the 19th.

My mum was in our local Boots today and was talking to a friend who works there about the sale goods. She mentioned they had little stock left and if mum wanted to get any decent stuff to get it now as they weren't having any restock as they are only a small store. Mum asked her when it would be going down to 75% and was told they had received confirmation that the sale stock would be at 50% until the 24th January. Seems late to me as normally finished by then - maybe another Boots staff member knows more ?

Last year it should have been the 13th, and was expected to be on that date but they postponed it for a week right at the last minute, as their sales figures had not been as good as they hoped at 50% (apparently due to the snow!!).

Previous years it has always been more mid January than late in the month, so I'm really really hoping for the 12th!!

I made my sale order on the BOOTS website on Christmas Eve at 4pm, and last night finally got the email to say my order has been PARTIALLY DESPATCHED!

2 items are not included - they don't say why - and offer no apology...and strangely these 2 items are still in the store at full price.....hmmm.

My fluffy pink hot water bottle is not to be this year.......I refuse to pay £12.50 for an item that was showing as available in the sale on the website for several days after I made my order... at half this price. :mad:

Not impressed......I have emailed them to complain and ask them to honour their price from in store items.....I await their reply....with not too much hope...:(

UPDATE 7 JAN: Boots have replied promptly to my complaint. They said if I can find my cancelled items in store and buy it at full price, they will give me the difference in points.....sort of fair I guess....they say it's because the website was not updated to say sold out in time but I'm a bit hmmmm about that explanation as the item was there for several days after I ordered it so I still feel they have messed up....I am grateful to this forum for forewarning me about problems with online orders because otherwise I wouldn't have made a few 'back up purchases' from the stores aswell - :beer: although an awful lot of stuff in the online sale wasn't actually in the store.....:(
Now, time to move to the new and I see buzzing 75% Boots sale thread!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
