Mr B has now made it impossible for you to buy a £5.50 accessory, use your £5 voucher, and pay in 250 points.
I also asked at least one SA, on each floor, of each store, to try it for me on a manned till, and said, vaguely "I think sometimes the points have to be added on manually".
Zilch. Nein. Non. Nothing. So after having carefully removed the 250 points voucher from the gifts I gave people, or have bought for Birthday Present giving, later in the year (no point giving someone a gift, in July, with a voucher inside that expires at the end of January, or March!) there's nothing I can do.
I just can't see the point of not using a £5 voucher, in order to get 250 points added on.If someone else can work out a way of doing this, I'd be thrilled to know!
xx
noooooo! what if you hand over the points voucher first and then the £5 off? looks like I won't be spending the 2 x 250 points vouchers I've got from the gwp and was planning to extract from a gift set. Aw well, boots loses more of my custom :rotfl:*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
p.s we could always flog them on ebay if we can't figure out a way to make them work

anyone found a way round it yet?
also why have they moved our post out of grabbit and into shop but don't drop???, I thought I was going mad today when I couldn't find it, it's only by searching SandraScarlett's individual posts that I was able to find it (not stalking you hun, just looking for the post and knew you'd recently posted on it)*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -

Funnily enough, that's the only way I found it too!Well tomorrow, my friend and I are going a-wombling in London, as there are so many SS tills around!
Whilst there, we shall also try adding the points first, and see if that works. My ol' brain vaguely remembers that in The Old Days, when we had loads of glitches, you had to figure out the order of handing things over.
Failing that, what I do now is womble away when there's a voucher going, "buy" sponges and things that are £3.50, so technically free, and perhaps a few of the hairbands and gloves, that only cost £1, and then, come November, I have a huge bag of goodies to give our Church for their bazaar.

I place an order on 26th and it says "Your order is being processed" and I haven't yet been charged...what does that mean?*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150

probably that it's not yet been despatched. You should get an email when it has been despatched and they will charge you then.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

My order is coming in three separate packages, all showing as "Your order is being processed" up to last night even though one turned up yesterday and one today. My third package is yet to turn up.
Boots seem to have messed up my tracking codes as a package with 1 item is showing as delivered this morning when I received a package with 9 items. The tracking code for the nine items is showing as 'Parcel data received awaiting coll'.
I have reported this to Boots just in case but it now starts to get awkward if the package with one item does not turn up but shows as delivered because of the wrong tracking code and the package not delivered (which has been delivered) had a damaged item which I sent back. So how can I send back what I haven't received and how can I prove that I haven't received the single item when the courier delivered an item with that tracking code?
Just have to hope that the third parcel turns up or this could be fun trying to get a refund (item now out of stock) if they insist it was delivered.
Value of missing item £10.50. Value of items delivered that are showing as awaiting collection £80.
Now Boots you can refund (as most items Out of Stock) the package you say I have not yet received (but if I didn't receive it how come I returned an item?) and let me have £80 back if you like I really don't mind but will be happy to received or be refunded the £10.50 for the item I really have not received. Here's hoping the third package turns up and I don't have to spend hours on the phone & emails trying to sort this out.
