Trawled the 50% sale in my local boots today, managed to get 3 diff S&G sets all hidden behind other tosh and only 1 of each left and some hair goodies, a few pressies for the upcoming year which only had a couple of each left. Cant wait for it to go 75% as there were piles of Ferns hat box, loads of Sanctuary and No7 stuff that was easy to resist at 50% but may be harder at 75% off. No sign of the Ted Baker Duffle bag though.

My Boots order is still showing as being processed although box 1 of 2 had arrived instore. The delivery slip showed they weren't able to fulfill my order but the box said 1 of 2 so I'm just hoping for the best at this stage......I'm doing the no new toiletries challenge for 2011 but had been hoping to go out from 2010 with a S&G bang.....! Does it still count for the challenge if I pick up stuff in 2011....!

Scarily as I was checking my box instore the S&G items drew the attention of another shopper who was nosing in and asking me where I got it from so I closed it back up and made a swift exit - it's scary getting this stuff home LOLOLOL!! Had to get Police Protection! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It's for my very bestest friend in the world so I hope she's not reading this!

I'm gonna miss the Boot sale thread when it ends - it's been my induction to the forums....where is everyone going next???! :A

I'm intending to do that challenge also, despite ordering an obscene amount of stuff from the Boot's sale on December 24th, most of which I have not yet received. My rationale is that if it was ordered in December then it doesn't count. I don't know what my excuse will be if I succumb to the 75% off sale though

lol,thought i would do that at the start of last year....i failed as soon as 75% sale started!! i just got 2 admit 2 being addicted 2 boots bargains! happy new year,:)

Everywhere I go, I seem to see No 7 black wallets, with the wrappers ripped off - and the voucher missing! These contain 3 or 4 brushes - hard to tell, cos some were completely empty!

Gok, Fern and Strictly gift sets by the dozen, or 100s of dozens everywhere, but nothing much to get excited about in the 75% sale.:(

Personally I think the boots sale has been shocking this year

but the big question is...did you manage to get the £5 off no7 voucher to work with the 250 point voucher?:rotfl:

Alas no. And to make matters worse, the Gestapo were stationed by all the SS tills, whipping away abandoned receipts, and pushing them deep into the bins, so nothing to womble either. :(:(

I used to make "cheer-up" bags of the accessories and things to give to friends, when they were in hospital etc. Well, I'll just have to hope nobody needs cheering up this year!
