I only lost 1lb
This is getting really boring/gutting/why am I bothering? very quickly.
Keep going Jody - you will get there!
Have you seen the link Jules posted on her diary? I checked it out and it looks really useful.
That way you can make sure that you're definitely eating enough etc.
You CAN do this, stick with it! xxxDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Don't give up Jody, it's important to be fit and healthy regardless of the weight loss that accompanies it.
You will really regret quitting once your in the Maldives.
You can do this xLBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

^^What Woo said! Keep going, even if you don't get to your goal you'll be closer to it than if you give up
It's worth remembering that 1-2lb a week is the ideal speed of weightloss for a healthy sustainable diet, so maybe try to think of it as an ongoing process of changing your lifestyle rather than a raceLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Very sensible advice there LittleMoog - I lost 9LBS over christmas when ill, the moment I put food in mouth when I was better it all came back almost as quickly! The slow but steady approach is far healthier...

Hello all!
Long time no see!
Lots to catch up on so will try and remember it all
Went to Bingo on Wednesday after work but unfortunately I didn't win anything although I did get a free dabber :rotfl:. My work mate won on 2 lines and the prize was £30 but he had to share it with four other people so he only got £6, he was not amused! I also got totally carried away with the little sliding bingo board games so must limit myself when we go again (which is next Thursday as they do free or paid bingo so our other work mate is coming as she can do the free one).
Thursday I had to go back to the opticians to pick up more trial lenses, my follow up appointment was supposed to be yesterday but they moved it to next week so I have more time to try out the two different makes they have given me. Wore them most of the day Friday and they were ok but my eyes were getting a little irritated by about 4pm, guess it just takes some getting used to.
Popped round my mums last night after work for a quick tea and a chat and then got home and OH made a bacon sarnie before we plonked ourselves down on the sofa to watch a film called kick-!!!, it's one of those really so badly cheesey it's quite funny and good films! I'd never heard of it before either but he loved it....typical man.
Got up this morning and was moaning to OH that the flat needed lots of cleaning and he grabbed the mop and bucket and washed all the laminate flooring . I did all the kitchen surfaces, we moved the sofa out and cleaned all the cushions and behind it. I did the washing up and put washing on and then organised all my paperwork, threw out loads of clothes, sorted my drawers out...phew. Feel much better to be less cluttered now as well . This afternoon he was playing one of his geeky war games on the pc so I laid on the bed with my Hug Rug and started reading through my PADI manual again. The dive trainer emailed me yesterday to say that the pool date was Sunday the 6th of March so not long to go :T
Bank balance looking ok considering it's payday on Tuesday, I am booked in for a haircut Monday night so need to pay for that but OH owes me some money for shopping which I think he has in his wallet, I also need to claim £29 for my eye test from work which I keep forgetting to do. Bit annoyed that my friend still hasn't paid me anything for doing his VAT return last week, he didn't pay me for the last one either although I haven't said anything yet. I will wait till Wednesday then will email and ask him as I am a little worried he maybe is paying the wrong person or something?!. I won a whopping £4.70 in the Euromillions last night so will chuck that in savings this week as well.
Unfortunately got lots to pay out for coming up soon -
Haircut Monday
Bingo Thursday
Opticians again Friday
Friends Engagement Party Saturday and workmate is coming round for Indian before we go!
Centreparcs on the 31st for 4 days although I am taking some bits for brekkie and snacks to save eating out.
Lunch with a friend on the 5th Feb and it's OH's friends birthday do that night
Then I need to add on the cost of my diving and car insurance is due on the 1st April!
Hmmm, need to get saving and not heard anything about the other pub job yet, will ask my friend this week.

Sorry for not being around much, lots to do as usual. Very exciting re diving course, I would love to do one If I could afford one...Do you like your contacts? I love mine though pls don't order them through your optician, they are very overprices. Just ask for the prescription and use one of the online sites, I pay £9.99 per month for both eyes and the contacts are even better quality than the one my Optician gave me. If you need it, I send you the link which company I use.0

Kavics I would be interested in looking in to that, I currently pay £22 a month for my lenses :eek:VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0

I would definately be interested in that link Kavics! Mine will be expensive I think as I am using dailies not 2 weekly or monthlys, just because I don't intend on wearing them every day but will be interesting to see how much they work out online!
I didn't read anymore of the manual yesterday but might do some tonight! I am surprised at how much I remember. Am very excited but also a little nervous about diving again although lets face it, I have a good reason to try and finish my qualification!
Remembered to bring in my eye test receipt and now have a cheque for £29, also emailed friend about VAT return payment so hopefully he will send something over soon. Must withdraw my national lottery winnings too. Off for haircut tongiht and been joking to OH about getting a bob but I think he would cry!
Just been trying to sort out my self assessment stuff, what a nightmare! I though I had already registered for online assessment but I haven't, then the system wouldn't let me in as I entered the wrong number . Now I have to wait for an activation code, am crossing legs that it turns up in time for the Monday deadline
