Your post was very hard to read, and it may help is you state the points rather than your opinions so we can follow them.
AnywayHi guys need help with virgin mobile contract as my monthly tariff was £22 pound and I have asked them to set the credit limit to £25 so if I by mistake use it with my no monthly voice minute that it will cut off at £25 .The horror happen as my phone got disconnected and I checked online the account was showing £54 something
Only the Tesco capped deal guarantees they will stop you, other netorks will not guarantee they will stop use once you hit the limit.any way I paid £20 to get account into credit so the line came on and very next day again my phone was disconnected so I called again I just put my account into credit by paying £20 why it is disconnected again I was told it went over the limit again
You need to ask for a breakdown of why you have this bill. Something is causing it to ge run up, ask for a breakdown, that may help you pin down the issue.
It could be internet use thats coming out of your aco!!!! rather than a bundle, or using more minutes or texts than your allowance.she transfer me to cancellation department and they refuse to cancel until I pay the for remaining 8 months so I stopped the direct debit and put complain in I got the reply back that I have to pay this amount no matter what happens
Re-instate your direct debit. Let then know you are paying but are disputing it. If you cancel the direct debit then you will get out on a credit blacklist, and have less options. Once you miss payments there will be less dealing than if you pay but dispute it. You'll also have the missed payments put on your credit file.
You need to get to the bottom of the charge before you can think about cancelling it. If it's a charge you owe then she's correct you will have to pay it and you can't cancel without penalty because of a high bill.and if I want credit limit £25 than I have to get in touch with their certain department to do that .And shortly after the reply I had letter today from virgin cancelling my contract and demanding me £247 and also saying that my line will stay disconnected I want be able to use it and they will send to credit file and credit agencies .Now is there any way that I can fight this because it sounds crazy pay for all this money and they want even let me use the line and my minutes that I will pay for it even though they have cancelled the contract .I have called otelo they gave me some number and I complained about virgin they send me the forms and be filling it in January and no time this month so any tips guys to sort this issue thanks
You asked to Cancel with 8 months to go. Cancellation fee's are usually the monthly rental minus VAT, so £247 is £30 is a month. Thats standard practice, you signed up for 12/18/24 months and you need to see that out or you'll be charged an early termination fee.
If you do want to cancel and don't pay then they will file it with credit agencies. Worst case is it goes to court and you may have debt collectors come after you.
Until you pay (or at least make a payment of some sort your phone will be blocked.
You really need to get to the bottom of the charges, it could be you have been miss billed, or it could be you have exceeded your allowance. Without knowing the cause you can't really start to argue about it.
Try asking for an itemised breakdown, it may cost a few pounds but should let you work out the problem.0 -
1) Learn to paragraph. It's near impossible to read this topic.
2) If you put £20 on the account and within 24 hours went over the limit again then you need to call them up and find out WHY you're going over it. you should'nt be using up £20 of credit in one day, if you are using it then you should just upgrade to a tarriff with more mins/texts as it'll be cheaper...
3)Until you pay off those debts i'd doubt they'd stop bothering you. Just pay if off and then cancel immediately before you can run up your bill again.0 -
A) Have you ever heard of grammar?
I stopped reading after the first huge sentence.

Hi guys need help with virgin mobile contract as my monthly tariff was £22 pound and I have asked them to set the credit limit to £25 so if I by mistake use it with my no monthly voice minute that it will cut off at £25 .
The horror happen as my phone got disconnected and I checked online the account was showing £54 something so I called them I was angry that why the Limit went to £50 and why let me use upto £54. The reply was that it we don’t cut people off when they are on call so that why it went to £54.
Any way I argued why my limit went to £50 as it was set to £25 last time and I was told that that is the minimum we can set for you so I was miss lead by Virgin staff .
I paid £20 to get account into credit so the line came on and very next day again my phone was disconnected so I called again I just put my account into credit by paying £20 why it is disconnected. Again I was told it went over the limit again.
I was shocked anyway I needed the phone so paid £10 more to get into credit and by the very next day it got Disconnected again.
I called why it is doing that they said you got bill around £90 I could not believe it and I went crazy and why it did not show on account when I first called in it was only £54 the lady told because sometime when you use your phone abroad it take times to get the exact call charges to apply on the bill
I have not been abroad and got no roaming calls so she went saying any way you should have not relied on your credit limit so I asked why there is credit limit ? the answer was that it is for their use so I argued if it was there not let me go over £50 so where is this bill coming from than and only showing £54 every time I went topping the account into credit it through the bill again and disconnected me again ?
She transfer me to cancellation department and they refuse to cancel until I pay the for remaining 8 months so I stopped the direct debit.I put complaint in I got the reply back that I have to pay this amount no matter what happens and if I want credit limit £25 than I have to get in touch with their certain department to do that .
Shortly after the reply I had letter today from virgin cancelling my contract and demanding me £247 and also saying that my line will stay disconnected I want be able to use it and they will send to credit file and credit agencies .
Now is there any way that I can fight this because it sounds crazy pay for all this money and they want even let me use the line and my minutes that I will pay for it even though they have cancelled the contract .
I have called otelo they gave me some number and I complained about virgin they send me the forms and be filling it in January and no time this month so any tips guys to sort this issue thanks
I have tried to tidy up your post so that people may have a chance to help you.
Basically, you need to get a breakdown to see why you have such high bills. Does your phone use the internet? Have you been calling abroad? Basically is it call charges or Data costs? We can't answer that, Virgin can.
Put a dispute in till you get a copy of the bill. If it is genuine, then stop doing whatever is racking up the costs.
But next time you post, use spaces, paragraphs and keep to the point. People will help, but you need to make your points clear, both in what you write and how you write it.0
