Sending a text from overseas - can recipient tell?

Hi, I have an iPhone 4 on O2 pay monthly. If I take the phone with me to the USA and send a text message, is there any way the recipient can tell the text was sent from the USA, or will it appear just as normal, as if I were sending it from the UK?

It will appear as normal sometimes the time of the text maybe different if they look closely at the message details it may say the time sent as the US time but doesnt always happen and who checks that anyway !
