I've lost a pound this week - not falling off exactly
but slow and steady is good, especially as I've had a couple of social things and there's been loads of cake at work!
Just when I thought I was doing OK this month had a really spendy morning but all necessary! Nails £21, voucher for Dad's birthday £20, 2 birthday cards £2.50, 2 pairs of shoes heeled £18, food for tonight £11 and Superdrug for hair stuff £7 - and there goes £80  Went for a sunbed on the way home, now need to tidy up a bit then am making spaghetti carbonara and watching the game
Statements have now all arrived so have updated my total, I have now paid off over £10k in 2 years, including the DCA discount from yesterday. Still seems a long way to go though!
Also got £20 refund back from the tax on my old car so when that clears it can come off a debt - will get Wescot cleared this month!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -

I have a subscription to Marie Claire but not so impressed this month. Of the first 53 pages, 41 of those were ads .
I wont be renewing the subscription unless it improves dramatically.
.
I read somewhere on MSE that they don't send the free cover gifts with subscriptions either.had a really spendy morning but all necessary! Sounds familiar, when I spend on things like that it's like "I spent less when I was buying clothes:rotfl:" It's annoying spending money and having hardly nothing to show for it.LittleBoots wrote: »Great news about the 20% discount:jand £10k in two years? Thats a major achievement :T.
