Do you have a training plan for your 10k? I had one for a 5k and that worked really well, just gradually building up to it.

I think I saw some free training plans on the Guardian website including one for a 10k if you need one.

    Good luck though, great goal!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

    Thanks makeup

I have another busy week at work and then things should calm down a bit. I intend to start a 10k training plan then, on the treadmill at the gym at first then, when the evenings start to get lighter, hopefully run outside

Got my nails done this morning and did some shopping (which I have confessed to on the Clothes Challenge). I think the Clothes Challenge is getting a grip of me - I saw some fab red suede (totally impractical) heels in the RI sale for £30, and actually thought 'do I want to spend a month's clothes budget on shoes I don't need?' What's happening to me  Lula - it's all your fault :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Just bought a dress for work - I have an event this week and need to look smarter than our usual dress code (but none of my smart clothes fit me :o) so was needed, and I didn't spend much

Have put some washing in - fingers crossed that the machine works - and tidied and cleaned round. Have been sticking to my resolution of being tidier and it's great to have less to do at the weekend :)

It's very wet, dull and miserable here :( so I am all cosy on the sofa with a magazine, my lappy and the footie scores :)

Not if I got there first though ;)

Hi Shoesy, sorry about having infiltrated your shopping psyche :o On the other hand, you have invaded mine - I'm currently watching 2 pairs of red shoes on ebay

Quite agree about doing less at the weekends, if I've done my chores on a friday, I then feel justified in being a lazy moose on saturday & sunday.

No extra weight loss here, but stabilising is good too :)

    xx

Just filled my car up for the week - £48  I have a longish commute so I can't do much about my fuel costs but it's getting riduculous, will be at least another £10 per month that I haven't budgeted for

Got some bits in Asda - stuck to getting just what I needed for a change! And treated myself to a sunbed session :)

Ooh nasty fuel prices, thankfully that is the one thing I can keep quite low.
It lets me seriously consider acquiring things like these beauties :

They'll go really well with the dress I spotted in Monsoon earlier :

I already have the gorgeous red bag, so will be saving some money :rotfl:

Hope the sunbed session made you feel a bit better.

I know :D but they are £40 & I'm not entirely sure if I should

Will have to see if they can be returned if not absolutely perfect. ( I still have too many beautiful but unwearable shoes - just cant bear to let them go if they're really pretty :o)

Sooooo glad I can come here to your thread & discuss such pretties in 'secret' :rotfl:

Will report back if I decide to buy ...
