Money saving on Internet access using my own phone contract

I have been in a contract with O2 for years now, and part oaf this contract allows me to use unlimited internet on my phone that i had never used.
Would it be possible to insert my simcard into one of these mobile broadband dongles and get free Internet?
If yes how?

I am not sure if it works the same on O2 as Vodafone, however on the latter I already do this, albeit in a slightly different way.
My Nokia can act as a modem, so I connect it to my laptop, and connect to the internet via Nokia Ovi Suite's built in options. I remember reading somewhere that Vodafone looks down on this, however I have never had a problem or additional charges.
I use it for email, web browsing and even World of Warcraft using it, although I usually only do it when I am working certain shifts at work, which amounts to about 10 days a month.Signaller, author, father, carer.0
