iPhone 4 or HTC HD7...?

If you're going to pay £480 for an iPhone in O2 then you might as well add £19 to it and buy an unlocked one from the Apple Store. If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button

I'd look long and hard at Win Mobile before buying one outright, what no one has mentioned is that resale of the handset, whatever you pay for say a iP4 v Desire HD, will mostly be recouped at sale time....Mazuma offers almost double for the iP4 v DHD at the moment.0

That is a very good point!! thanks. Decisions decisions0

Long as you don't need to use an I Phone to wake you in the morning .

Dont disapoint your selfs and take anything less then the iphone 4, htc hd7 has a horrible screen, even though it is 4.3 it has nothing over the iphone 3.5 retina display, and overall the iphone oozes of premium. just my 2cents.. And io2 is 3 years ahead of windows 7, even though i see potential for the windows 7 its not quite ready to compete with the ios and android just yet. And you say you had an iphone, it will be easy to sync all your previous backup so you will be up and running in no time.0

if you can get the iphone for £480 direct from o2, you can unlock it free if you have or know someone who has a pay monthly o2 account..0

just a point, there is currently no official way to unlock iphone 4 through o2, you either have to jailbreak and unlock that way (full of problems) or like i did, pay £120 to someone who obviously knows someone at apple to backhander them into amending the database. I had lengthy arguments with o2 about this issue after my partners orange iphone 4 was stolen and replaced with a o2 iphone 4, and they refused to unlock it even though it had nothing to do with their contracts.
if you have a 3g/3gs o2 will unlock free0 -

If you hadn't been told the iphone 4 had a retina display you wouldn't be able to tell.
In what way does the iphone 'ooze premium'?
The iphone 4 is by no means the best handset on the market and what phone you get depends on your needs. The HTC Windows phone will be what some are looking for as with an Android device. I take it you purchased an iphone 4 because it looks nice?0 -
Just get the iphone 4 sync it with itunes and all your stuff apps, music, contacts will be back on the phone and away you go.
Anything else and you have to start from scratch including learning how the OS works.0
