Hi every one - just popping on while dinner is cooking, I've made a fish pie and it smells delish! Was looking at my never ending list of housework that I want done before the 1st and then hubby reminded me that dd1 and dd2 are off school tomorow as the teachers are on stike so we have devided the list between the four of us and it's now much more manageable! I do love having older children lol! Mind you, dd3 is running around with a sponge asking me what she clean as well so I've got her well trained too :)

Hi Pink - sounds like you've been doing really well.

Boatgirl - You are also doing really well. Glad Tabi is doing well too :)

Thanks Elysia and that's a really good idea about the bank account too.

    Evening everyone

I didnt get back on this morning after all as we have had another busy day. We went to B&Q first to get a couple of bits we needed and ended up buying one of their mini real Christmas trees that you pot and keep, we have put it out in the front garden. Just hoping it doesnt get nicked, things have a way of disappearing round our way, two years ago the wreath went off the front door and then in the summer after the hanging basket went. Now OH ties loads of wire round it and round the door knocker so they would have trouble grabbing it.

When we got back we did the rest of the wrapping up and then had a break for lunch then this afternoon OH got in the loft and got all the decorations and tree down so we spent the rest of the day putting them in place. We havent finished the tree though as we need to get some more lights for it tomorrow and we were too knackered anyway. We have had the Christmas music videos on and its been really nice. The strange thing is this year though is that we havent got our gas fire on, its not been cold enough yet to have it on during the daytime and it feels really weird.

We have had the rain all afternoon so I am glad we went shopping this morning, we went in mr T as well while out and got some more chocs and things so we have plenty of nice bits in.

I have got a few surveys in my inbox if I get a chance to do them before the football comes on. If not I will have to see if they are still available in the morning before I go out (meeting my Bro and Sil up town tomorrow).
  • I went into town to try and get dh a gift, got my purse nicked instead - what a day.

Its made me feel sick inside.

Think i'm off to bed - feel rotten.

  • I am so sorry Tooti, that is dreadful. I hope you weren't hurt. Have you cancelled your cards? Take it easy tonight x

Thanks DJ, really proud of her and myself for sticking to the moneymaking in amongst all the new baby chaos.

It's lovely to see everyone doing well and getting into the Christmas spirit.

I have decide after being totally organised with all xmas gifts that i am no longer giving the ohs nan and great aunt money as I know they will just lend it to others in his family or smoke far too much (they both have copd and won't quit) I have now decided to do them a hamper between them with some alcohol that they like, chocolates, radox and some dove products so need to go to mr T tomoro for those.

Got an email today from snapfish offering me a free book as i havent been on the site recently so am gonna have that done as an extra for my sister. was talking to oh about his nans hamper tonight and my sister announced she wants a hmper little does she know I am doing her and my mam one. Need to get the paper out of the loft get everything wrapped and hidden then i can use the cardboard boxes I have been using for the presents as bases for my hampers.

OH has announced that he is giving up smoking when he has his op on thursday, hes been to a clinic tonight and got a prescription for 3 things to help sso have told him if he doesnt quit tough cause there wont be money for fags after paying for that!!

Done a couple of surveys tonight but still no redeems :(

    Morning everyone.

Well done Mum2one - were you at Wolverhampton Uni? That's where DD1 goes. :)

Just to make you laugh, and tell you how bad my cooking is - last night DD was eating her tea, and complained that she'd got some hard bits. She sat there chopping it up into minute little portions after that. When she'd finished, she noticed she'd only gone and swallowed a wobbly tooth. To top it all, I forgot to put money under her pillow. Quick recovery, I told her it must have been because she wasn't smiling in her dreams. ;) I quickly got some money, and stripped off the bedcovers for the wash, where I miracously 'found' the money. Phew. That was close. :D

that was a close one with the tooth, the excuses we have to come up with, yep its the Wolverhampton one, the site with the millimeum building, looks very posh there!
At least no tutorials now till after xmas, but another 2 assisgements before xmas!

Done an assisgnment 2ngt in 5 hrs from start to finish, miracle for me, so rewarded myself with the last piece of the christmas tree cake, it was lush...
Then Christmas cards to write at the weekend!
    xx

    Morning All

I've been watching videos on Maxi this morning - the Bridesmaids one is worth 20 points if anyone hasn't done it. I've also redeemed £10 Arg voucher from S 7 S and I'm halfway to another.

Thanks Juliejim, I am just doing them myself xx

Emma - I do hope your OH sticks to the non smoking. It is really a hard thing to do, I packed in about 10 times and started again but have now been a non smoker for about 8 years. He will need lots of support to get through it, send him my best wishes xx

I had quite a few surveys still in my inbox this morning and have finished three of them, one for PC, one YG and one T. Still got some more in there to try but I wont have time until I get back from town as meeting my family at 9.30.
