Chel - if you just upload the photo direct onto the site it will crop them for you, you just need to make sure you are not taking a photo with lots of detail at the sides or top and bottom depending on which way you have the photo taken or it will chop them off. Best thing to do is to try uploading one and see what happens to it then you will know. I have never uploaded a normal shape photo as I always crop mine myself. There is a link to my shop on my blog on the right hand side at the top but I have made up a separate page on there now with a few of my items on it which have links as well.
  • Morning everyone, I think Elysia's luck must be rubbing off on me... had an email to say I have won Bottle of fine Champagne, GHD Straighters and Hair Dryer Set, Limo transfer to Restaurant of choice (£250 allowance), Reservation for four at a choice of restaurant with a £50 allowance each to spend on food and drink, £75 spending money and a Fuji Digital Camera! What a way to start a Monday morning. Looks like me and hubby will be going to a posh restaurant to celebrate both out birthdays next month in style :D

Well done on listing Chel, hope you have lots of bids.

Well done for getting your shop opened Elysia, you will get there, that's the hard part done now.

What a pain about folksy, have you done an etsy shop too? Alot of advertising is word of mouth so it's a tough one to crack. I'm sure your items will sell they are lovely.

Thank you Foxy, shal have hubby look your pm over later xx

Hi all, I don't mind any of you messaging me to be refered for the food survey it isn't a problem however sorry to all of you that have already emailed I also need your DOB, just checked through my pack to make sure I had all the details needed. Like I say I have to do the survey for 2 weeks so you have plenty of time but if you could all let me have the extra info think they use your age sometimes to decided if they want you or not.

I refered a friend on my last one and she got a survey straight away but then refer onw previously but she never heard from them so don't know how they work it but i will list all your details for them and tell them you are all interested and hopefully at least some of you will hear something.

Still waiting for 2500 on T with about 8 to credit, 25p on VO with £5 to credit and 20 points on ms so getting a bit peeved with them all now, got a ms this morning but what a surprise I was kicked out not that I am cynical at all lol!!

  • Hi all

Thanks for the Santa list Foxy, DH will look at mine tomorrow while I'm out.
I managed to list 22 things on ebay yesterday, and have done my tax self assessment this morning, so am waiting for some money back :j:j
I lost my nectar card on fri - with £300 of points on it. I've now managed to cancel it and luckily all the points will be transferred - phew. It just means I can't use it this week which is a pain, but serves me right for not being more careful !

Good news on the Nectar card Skiergirl, and wow, thats a great amount to have on it. I only have about £4 on mine lol but then I cant get to Sainsbury without my OH and he has his own card so uses that. I always forget about using it online when I buy anything.

I havent had any more surveys to do today, just a few polls on T and one on OP.

OH is off tomorrow, not sure what we are doing but doubt I will get much done on here during the daytime. Its his only day off this week so got to make the most of it, but he is off Sat and Sun this week so that's when we will get the tree and decs out and up.
  • Lucky escape there Skiergirl. That would be a lot of points to lose on that one.

Emma - may PM you as well. That sounds a good earner, and like you say, may or may not lead to something, but we will see.

I just came across a newone called superpoints. It is a bit like swagbucks by the looks of it. You can earn points by doing surveys, watching videos, spinning a lucky wheel, or getting a winning email. When you save enough up you can get amazon vouchers, paypal cash, or save up for apple products, though you might be there for ages saving those up. If anyone fancies giving it a try, PM me your email address. It looks like it might be a bit slow, but if you are willing to keep checking, we could find it ok.

Not done very much here today. Earned a couple of quid on cha and copied a review onto C. Wrote 2 reviews on C yesterday, so up to 49/100 that i wanted to do before christmas. not that close, but definitely getting there.

rufus - saw your new bag on folksy via facebook today. Thought I would just mention it so that you know that it is working again.

Thanks for that Michelle, I wasnt sure if it was coming up or not. Someone on there was sending out messages a little while ago saying could we do something or other as Facebook was changing and you wouldnt be able to see when she posted anymore so I was thinking that was what was happening. I dont really use Facebook as much as I could but until they put out a new app for the shop there didnt seem to be much point. I started making the bag weeks ago but stopped when I started doing my furniture and then couldnt be bothered to start on it again as I was losing a bit of interest in it all but I had a bit of a shake down yesterday and decided to go and finish it off this afternoon.

    HI everyone
Im back and feeling a lot better thankfully. Hope everyone is well.

DJStar - good luck with the giving up smoking, it is to be my NY resolution this year
Sambamamba - Ill definitely join in with vodka, lime and lemonades

Im still waiting for my Love2Shop voucher from T! It just says 'processing' - boo!
However I have managed to redeem on VO now and I received a whole bundle of Pantene products in the post to take part in a product test through supersavvyme which is quite exciting

Can any of you who make things recommend to me where to buy toy stuffing? I need to stuff the snowman for my niece but have no clue where to get it from (other than ebay) and dont know how much is a good price - thanks

Foxy - thanks for sorting out secret santa, Im getting very excited about Christmas now!

Claros, you can buy a bag of toy stuffing in Dunelm Mill. Its £7.99 though which is a bit dear but says on the bag that its safe for toys. When I have made toys for my kids and Grandkids I have just bought pillows from Primark or Wilkinson's and used the stuffing out of them.
