    Morning All!

Not much to report yet this morning - that Toothfairy still won't give me any money! No surveys through yet either, but lots of other stuff to do.

I'm going to make a start on reviews today, I've done 2 on there already but they weren't very good apparently :( so I need to redo those, and then add some new ones. I haven't got a circle of friends on either DY or C yet, so feel free to add me - its Gill635, and I can score yours too. There's been a couple of you have given your user names in the last few posts so I will add you too if that's OK ?

I was reading the sock monkey thread yesterday - I'd never seen or heard of one before and now I SOOOOO want to make some! I'm going to look round for some easy to follow instructions, so if anyone has any please feel free to send it my way as I'm not very good with the old sewing!

    Thanks

Gill - sock monkeys are easy. It's better if you have a sewing machine, but you can do them without. Have a look at my Bl*g, I haven't made anything for ages, so mine should be easy to find. I'll see if I still have the link I used. I'll post it in a sec.

With the reviews - I'll see if you can find you, and you can have a look through mine and see what's expected. Top tip - don't just describe the item, you need to write about what you would like to have known before you bought it. If it's something electrical, how easy it is to set up, how much electric it uses etc. It sounds obvious but if it's a washing machine, how clean it gets your clothes, and a phone - what the sound clarity is when you are talking to someone. With phones being so technical nowadays, no-one mentions what it's like to make a call, they all talk about cameras and apps and stuff.

Legend - wow bargain!!! You'll have to write a list of things to look out for for us. We can check were we are. We might be able to find something you can't. ;) Sorry to hear it's still not paid yet. Surely by now they should have some idea when you'll get some money. Chase them up again hun.

Rufus - well done. Wooo Hoooo. :) I only wrote one review on Chow last month, so I didn't expect a huge amount.

Oh Elysia! I have been chasing them everyday or more! They have now said 5 working days so payment next week but until then we have nothing except £50 cash in the Christmas pot and I know if I touch that I may not pay it back so am holding off! Checked my Sky bill for the month and I have £16 of call charges just to the child credit and DWP! Thats only over 10 days I think as its only up to the 9th! So next months will have a fair few quid on it too! They should make these phonelines free!

As for Mr T I will sort a list but from memory there are Chidrens dress up Stig outfits, Lindam Bedrails with barcode ending in 890 I think! And any clothing that has AW-10 written on it is worth a shot too as its last seasons! Also any ladies scarves with SS-11 on it is again worth a scan! lol

I agree - they should make these phone lines free. Epecially anything to do with benefits. If you didn't need the money, you wouldn't be on them. Grrrrr. I get's me so mad.

Yesterday I had my Mr T order delivered, and there was something missing - I phoned up the helpline, and was kept waiting for 15 mins or more. It was only something worth £1 - If I'd have known how long I was on, I wouldn't have bothered.

Thanks for the list Legend. I'll jot that down, and keep an eye out. :D ETA : That outfit is brilliant. I'll have to pop to ours and see if I can get one. My nephews are too old now, but I don't mind passing it on to help someone on here. :)

Thanks Elysia, I'll see if I can find your blog to have a look now. When I've perfected the monkey, I shall promote myself to the others you've kindly forwarded on :)
