I was checking my bank Michelle, not long ago I had a decent amount in my savings, not a lot but would have got YD a net book but its all dwindled away. I am not going to buy anything else for OH now, I have spent enough out of my pittance anyway lol. If I can get to £50 on DY before Christmas how long do they take to send out a cheque? Although they do have some secondhand netbooks on Amazon and I have £20 on there already and hopefully at least one of the three owing from T would come before hand.

I will have to save up for my own one after Christmas. Its more important YD has one so she can get on with her course work.

    Morning People!

Hope you're all well this morning ?

I started the day off by listing a load of books on several websites to hopefully sell and bring some cash in. I've just had a couple of survey e-mails pop up so I'm going to get onto them next. Really need to sign up to some review sites today too - just trying to stagger starting everything as it's getting in danger of becoming overwhelming!

How's everyone else getting on ?

Lol Pablo, I can just imagine his face! Thing is with OH he doesnt give all the presents in the morning, he keeps things back and then produces more things later on in the day. One year I wanted an Ipod when they first came out and I went all day a bit gloomy as I hadnt had one then when we went to bed it was on my pillow. But then again there have been other times when I really wanted something and kept waiting all day to get it hoping and he hadnt got it for me after all.
  • ooh I'd go mad at OH if he made me wait all day for my present! we usually exchange at midnight because we're both so impatient lol

I'd be terrible if my dh held back presents as each year I would assume I was going to get what I wanted and would be a moody whatname when it wasn't there by bedtime. lol Hopefully he is teasing in the hope of being able to surprise you.

Managed to do just under £4 in various surveys so far this morning and redeemed on mysur for a £10 amazon voucher which takes me up to £66 in my account. Think I will have a look later to see what I can buy for a few more gifts. Right off to get my 2 horrors from preschool and praying I don't get soaked!

Hi everyone, just a quite check in and read through last 3 pages of posts - everyone has been busy!
Headed into town this morning, had to go to the bank to sort money for car insurance, and thought I'd do a bit of shopping whilst I was there. Bought DH aftershave set, 2 lego sets (1 for Ds and one for friend) and a baby's lego set (on 342) used vouchers and got additional Boots points so rather than spending £67 I actually only paid out £17! Also replaced a couple of plates and bowls that had broken, had JL vouchers and spent £1.50 I love it !!!

Off to take my friend's 40th birthday box now, see how it goes down! Got 2 ebay parcels to post, and the Lego to return (they finally emailed me back and told me what I had ordered was a rare collectors edition?????).
DD has a bonfire party at school this afternoon, and we are all off to the local bonfire tonight, thought it would be cheaper than buying our own fireworks.
My savings stash is now well and truly spent - totally reliant on ebay, s&s and netmums now!!! Need to get some more cash before can buy anything else, luckily most of my shopping is now done, just got to get on with the wrapping now! OH will be in the attic tomorrow getting out the paper ready for me!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend

    Good afternoon everyone :)

Is anyone else having trouble logging in to McCains? They keep telling me I don't exist! I wonder if they've realised their mistake with the extra points and closed some accounts? Ah well, I've received £20 already even if I don't get the final £10 I ordered.

I've had to take the day off work today which I wasn't too happy about. I was getting tummy pains again going down my bump, it almost felt like a ripping at one point :(. It's all part of the muscle issue that I have had physio for, so nothing to do with the baby which is good, but it still hurts like crazy. I'm making the most of the day off though. I've just ordered 4 presents for my brother and paid for them all using Amazon vouchers. It's so nice knowing I'm not spending 'real' money! I'm going to do a Vistaprint order now as I've thought of a few bits I can get DH.

Some of us had points randomly added to our accounts on there. Mine jumped by hundreds on several occassions. We have never found out why, it was suggested it was a backlog of points that hadn't credited at the time. Also, I could never get the 200 point surveys to work so I wasn't sure if it was something to do with that. But it could have just been an error on their part, especially now my account seems to have been deleted.

Ah right, I managed to do the survey yesterday - although it's still sitting there waiting to be done. I tried to do it again before, but says I've already completed it - was hoping I'd be able to do it twice ha ha.

I've played the games on there today once each - is there a way other than the initial survey and playing games to earn points ?
