It was on the competitions page on the site Elysia. If they were checking out your profile, they are usually considering you for member of the week, or that was the case when I got it, both times.
Is it bedtime yet? Got a headache starting. Started round about when we went to the balloon burst fundraiser event at school, where raffle tickets went in balloons and then the last 3 balloons to be popped won prizes. Pretty impressive to watch.
Not helped by a couple of meltdowns from DS1, who wanted to pop the balloons but wasn't allowed. I had to threaten not to take them to watch fireworks tomorrow.
Inbetween, we have made a poster for a competition at school tomorrow, which we found out about today.
Just had tea, can't wait for bedtime for the kids. Half of it is tiredness again. Them and me.
The dog is being irritating too. I stood in a puddle from him, so I had to take my socks off, and now he won't stop licking my feet. It is so ticklish. Daft animal.0 -

Michelle - early night for you - and that's an order. The balloon raffle sounds different. I've not see it done that way before.
Thanks Bunbun - got that one.
Ooh nice work Rufus.
I think I need to go on maximiles again? I never really got on with that site, but I keep seeing all these redeems. I'm going to give it one last try.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Flatpacks I hate them! Been doing the tv unit since 7pm and now got into bed! The doors are still not aligning but I give up as the screwdriver is making the palm of my hand sore! Really need a glitch on drills! OH did help but he ain't a diy person!
spent the afternoon t ds nursery as they had a firework activities afternoon and all parents welcomed! So we made sparklers from twigs and tinsel, roman candles from loo roll type thing and more tinsel, biscuits covered in hundreds and thousands and other sprinkles, chocolate dipped apples had hot dogs round the fake bonfire it was fun! Although everyone did laugh at ds singing the end of school songs so loudly! X factor for him I think! Then he was so funny as we were in the school car park he decided he wanted to kiss his friend Jake goodbye but Jake was having none of it and ran away and ds burst into tears! We tried to get Jake to do thumbs up or something to pacify ds but he was having none of it! Oh the dramas! Funny things kids!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Kids never fail to make me laugh over the things they do that's why my job is so perfect for me. Sounds like a great day Legend.
Michelle- thanks for the link to pb, it all went through fine and with the £3 given to join made over my £2.50 wohoo!!!
Also won another £1.50 at bingo tonight and saved a fortune when I popped in the Mr t on the way back, triple s/w, 2 chicken pasta, 3 packs choc au pain and loaf of bread all for 98p!!!!! Thats's dh lunch tomorrow sorted so saved the £3 he normally spends.0 -
You are welcome stepmum - had a bit of an odd moment when it asked me for your surname, and I had no idea, so I put in stepmum. I then thought there is no way that will go through, but it obviously did as I had my 20p. Thanks for using my link.
I am off to bed now. DH is watching one day, which is pretty cool to watch, but I am past it. Just tomorrow to get through, then DH is working a ridiculous 20 hour day on Saturday, so won't get in till about 6am, then I will be in charge of kids most of the weekend. Joy. It is hard work keeping them quiet in that situation.0 -
Legend - glad you had a good day. It sounds fun.
Stepmum - well done. I'm glad the referral went through ok.
Michelle - that was weird wasn't it? Did you get an email asking you to join when the referral went to stepmum? It threw me for a minute. I wouldn't mind, but I had four of the things. Goodnight hun. It sounds like you need all the rest you can get, ready for the weekend.
Night everyone. xI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
