HHi everyone, hope you had a nice xmas day.

I went to boots sales yesterday with DS, bought loads with the vouchers (from surveys all year) and points. Soccersports had lots of mens and ladies toiletries reduced to £2 , so picked up a few for pamper hampers throught he year. Also had a good go at BHS sales.

I totally revamped the craft room, so best start making cards now (put all the xmas things away)

My new years resolution is dont buy anymore craft things until I`ve used alot of what I have. And to save some money , like twinkle I have £1.67 in my ISA...DS going to uni in october and wants me to help him:eek: so I best pull my finger out on these cash back sites.

Bought OH a kindle (thanks to bingoport)for xmas which he hasnt put down and he hates computer gadjets, he`s even using my cookery book stand too rest it on....:o

elysia - thxs for updating post 3 , your a star

pammy - wd on your totals

nickybo - how did you strain the flavoured vodka?

twinkle - welcome to this thread
    and gingababe:)

Right off to make a buffet, got 35 people coming tomorrow and best get organised....:rotfl:

Hi, after lurking for all of last year I feel that i know most of you already, though not in a stalker way I promise ;-)
I Would love to join you properly this year. I do a fair few survey sites but have not kept a count of any earnings so will definately be using the spreadsheet this year. Thanks.

  • Please count me in - the majority of "spare" money goes on gifts for other people - it would be nice to think tht could go on us at some point this year.

    Afternoon all,

I'm planning to move back to the UK next Summer and LOVE the idea of being money neutral (especially with first baby on the way!).

Great first couple of posts - I'm off to download the spreadsheet and sign up for some surveys....

    EDIT:

Downloaded spreadsheet and entered names for next years birthdays/Christmas presents. Signed up for Valued Opinions and IPSOS. Here's hoping for a money neutral 2011!

Welcome to everyone! Just making the first step and joining in is a big thing, so well done. If you're not on any survey sites, please join a few, one or two a day for now will be perfect - no need to rush and do eveything at once - it'll put you off.

Let us know how you get on, and which ones you join. p.s. If you get one of the other members of this forum to refer you, you will be doing them a great favour as they will get a little bonus. In time, new people will join and then they will ask you ;)

Well done Mswan - I've just found my phone (it's only been missing 6 months  ) so the phone I used in the meantime, I can recycle too now. I best do it while I think about it.

Not very moneysaving but I saved money nonetheless. My iron broke, so instead of just exchanging it, I chose a different one that was reduced to half price in the sale, so I had a lovely £40 refund. :D

Legendmum - you can earn 1,000 points per day by posting on the forum 10 times. The best thing to do, is play 18 on auto (click 18 on the top right hand corner and while you are playing minmise the page and do some of your posts, then do the same thing again. If you play between 8 - 9pm the winnings are higher. I've been back on the site 3 days and haven't won anything but I'm up to nearly 8,000 points. Once you have played your 2,000 points (by doing what I've said for a week) you can claim £5 amazon voucher once you reach 10,000 points.

Top tip for any newbies - check out the survey section, I went on there the other day and there was about 8 or 9 questions worth 250 points each. It's worth checking here every now and again for extra points.
