  • Hi everyone,

I came across this forum a month back but never joined. But I would love to I really need some motavation. I am a stay at home mum with two ds the eldest is nearly 3 the youngest 16 months, so I often have my hands full!

I already do Dooyoo, although I havent being doing the last month I have just been so busy. I managed to make £110 from it this year which was very helpful. I started in June so I was pleased with that. I also do onepoll (still miles of payout on that £18.30 so far) and valued opinions (managed one £10 pay out so far and up to £3.50 again). I have joined a few others but I find too many I just get bogged down with them and don't know which ones to do first.

I would love to give it a real good go for 2011 with all your help.

Bingoport is a site where you play bingo for free.

When you reach 10,000 points you can redeem them for a £5 amazon voucher. You get some 'points' for signing up, and you spend your points by playing - but hopefully you win the bingo and get some more. ;)

At the same time, you can earn extra points by posting on the forum (much the same as this, so it's not too difficult - 10 times a day. For this you will earn 1,000 points. So they quickly mount up.

I hope this is easy enough for you to understand - it really is easy, there's nothing to worry about at all.

You have to play 2,000 points on the bingo (which are free remember) to be able to make your redeem. So play as I told Legendmum above, play 18 tickets for 10 games every day of the week PLUS make your ten posts on the forum per day and you will get £5 a fortnight even if you don't win. If you have a few wins, and you have played your 2,000 points, you could even get £5 per week.

It sounds much more difficult than it really is - Join up and try it - you have nothing to lose. It's a really friendly site, and it gets a bit addictive when you win. Ask someone on here to refer you, and they will get a little bonus.

I hope that's ok. If it isn't - ask again and I'll talk you through it. It's no problem, I'm happy to help. :)

ETA: just worked it out - even if you have no wins you can earn £130 a year on here, and considering it's taken me 15 months to get to payout on NewVistalive surveys (£50) I think that's great!!!

Well done Twinkle - Could you please write a few sentences about Shop and scan, so I can add it to post 2? How you find it, how long it has taken you to get to payment etc. I would be most grateful. :)

Clairylulu - Don't worry about the survey sites - I often feel bogged down by them, if there are too many in my inbox, I just do the ones that pay the most. I've said this before and no doubt I'll say it again, and you know yourself - every extra penny is a bonus. ;) Well done on Dooyoo - I made £85 last year (with a 5 or 6 month gap in the middle). It all mounts up.

Please come back often and let us know how you are doing - and remember the challenge is on the 1st of the month. It's great - it keeps us motivated. See you soon xxx

Hi, I was going to lurk for a bit longer but seeing my MSE twin is an omen I think! Is it Black Ops in your house too Twinkle?

I'm Alona, mother of 5 yr old girl & 2 yr old boy/girl twins, at home as childcare is too expensive. So as costs go up with income not going up for at least a year this thread will be a lifesaver. I do sell a bit at car boots, Ebay, Greenmetropolis etc already but this will focus it much more.

Spreadsheet downloaded & ready to go, and my thanks to all who have put so much work into this & for all the great tips (& its not even 2011 yet).

    Best wishes to all.
Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in infamy!!

Ahh that's nice to be appreciated - thanks Alona. You are very welcome to join. Read through the first few posts and take a few moments to digest it - there's a lot to take in.

If you haven't joined any survey sites yet, please do so (see post 2). One a day, will be fine for now - don't rush it. It's not a competition. :) There is a challenge on the 1st of the month to keep us motivated, and please come back often to let us know how you are doing.

  • ShopandScan (https://www.shopandscan.com) is a panel where you scan all items of your shopping (including your food, household and even clothes shopping) using a small clicker and upload till receipts to the ShopandScan website so that they can monitor consumer shopping trends. You need to be invited by ShopandScan to join the panel. Anyone who is interested needs to register their details on https://www.volunteer4panels.com and tell them that you're interested in the ShopandScan panel. It takes about 3months from registering to be a panel member but it will probably depend on the demographics they are looking for at the time. You do need access to a computer and you'll also need a scanner or digital camera for the receipt uploads.

You need to be willing to upload the scanner data every week as CS bombard you with phonecalls and emails if you're late! So this is definitely not a panel for the faint hearted!

In return they give you reward points to spend on vouchers such as Argos, Debenhams, HMV etc in £10 denominations. You get £10 for your first scanner upload then about £1 per week for scanner uploads and 50p per week for receipt uploads. There are also other panels that you can be invited to join once you have been a member for a while.

  • Bingoport confuses me!
    Donna
Economy; careful management; providence. Whether you call it thrifty or frugality it all comes down to getting more for your money.
  • And yes Black Ops is on now so I know your pain too!! He's talking to me like I'm really interested but I'm making all the right noises so he's happy and keeping out of my way lol. Right now to get my head around this bingo thing....
