Savvy, I think the lady will get back to me, I hope so as it might be hard to sell the cushion (she wanted a male couple on it instead of a mum and dad and kids). I am thinking in the future if people want me to make up a special one I would ask them to pay for it first or something so I dont end up wasting my time. I have made up another cushion cover, a different style one this time, but can't put it on my shop until OH brings my camera home. YD sold hers to her BF's brother and was going to borrow it back while OH is away but she split up with BF Tuesday and cant borrow it after all.
My product suggestion has gone through on DY already, I only suggested it this morning so I have copied that one over already.0 -
Afternoon, done £2 so far - £1 viva and £1 mysurvey, also got offered a product test on T so hoping that will come! Need to do aquick tidy this afternoon incase Landlord comes round to see the heating, also going to OH's grans later for her bday - ooh I finished the bag! I'll take a pic later, it came out ok, not completely happy with the handles but I had to use what I had in the house! It will do though, its the thought that counts I'm sure..
I'm £3 away from payment on viva - hoping by some miracle I just squeeze in a payment this month..I think its the 25th isnt it? I just need a really good run tonight!May Grocery Challenge -£216/4000 -
            Afternoon.
Hope everyone is feeling ok today? Slow start to half term here. Kids are playing nicely. I had to get cross with them for over-smothering the dog, but that has been it. They are now calmer.
I've done a bit of money making - YG for 50, taking me up to £7.50, and money from Cha hit my account so I moved that about. I added a product suggestion onto DY late last night and it was there when i logged on this morning. Good going, as they have been so slow in recent weeks, so they must have cleared the backlog a bit now.
Not really trying that hard though, as I have found a pattern to knit a dog sweater for Murphy, so I am trying that out. It's slow though as it is on dpns and circular knitting, which I have not done before. I think it might be something I could do on the folksy shop when I get round to it. People go mad for buying stuff for their pets don't they, so if it turns out ok i might take a piccie and see what you ladies think of it.
I need to spend some more time knitting as I know we have 2 babies due to arrive, November and December, plus I want to do each of my boys a jumper each. I am not that speedy either.

Sounds a good idea Michelle with the doggy jumper for Folksy. People buy all sorts for their pets these days and if you can make up your own pattern all better as they are knuckling down on there now about using your own designs for things.
I was just thinking, the size of my dog Harvey, he would fit in my jumpers lol, he is huge.0 -
Good advice Rufus. I was just thinking the same myself. Should be easy enough. Stick a cable pattern in, or just different colours. The pattern I am trying is just one in someone's blog, so I don't think that would be a problem. Hopefully being small they don't require too many hours to do either.
Just managed review 30/100 onto DY, and then noticed one has been added on C too, so not doing too bad today. Good job as the circular knitting is taking all my brain power. :rotfl:0 -
Bad news - my internet is down.
Good news - My dongle works again.
Bad news - I've only got £4 credit left on it, so I might not be around later. Here's hoping Virgin pull their finger out. It's been off since before 10.
Michelle - with the dog coat. Sounds a silly idea but my auntie used to knit them using the sleeves part of a jumper knitting pattern. The wrist goes around the neck, and work it so far along. You'd need to work out the placing for the two front legs, but once you've done the one you're knitting, it should be easy enough to follow when you make some more.
I'd love to knit better - I'm so jealous.
I've done some things for my shop, but both are girls designs, I need to get working on the blue boys ones.
Rufus - well done, and you Savvy - you both are doing really well with Chow and DoU. Do you think you are going to keep it up? It's not really much extra effort once it's written is it.
Savvy - I still owe you an E. I think I owe Michelle one too. I lost my list. If the dog sees paper he chews it. I'll be around over the weekend to rate again. I think I'm just sticking to surveys tonight, with the internet down.
Foxy - I hope you get a payout on the paypal promotion. That'll knock another tenner off the bike. I like a bargain.
Pablo's - please post pics. I love to see what people made. You're so clever. I can knit, but I only have patience for baby jackets, and tiny stuff. I hope you make the £3 tonight. That would be great wouldn't it?
Emma - glad you liked Lee Evans. My cousin saw him last week he thought it was brilliant. I've always liked him too. He's great. I bought DD his book for christmas, so I can read it afterwards.
 There's method in my madness.

Sorry for asking what seems like a silly question. What postcode got drawn on the free post code lottery today? My dongle won't let me access it, and it's a £70 rollover - I bet it's mine because I can't claim. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just got a £1 survey on Viva, havent had much else this afternoon, just been doing lots of rating.
That lady still hasnt got back to me, hope she does over the weekend.0 -
            I hope so Rufus.

I got £3 off Viva. £2 pops, and got screened from 7 NV ones before I qualified for the last one. I'm at £18.80 now.
