Saver I know what you mean about it being tough - how many points have you got on BP now? Like twinkle said perhaps try and split your posts up a bit during the day? I write in the newbie posts, the cg posts (people talking about their wins), winners are grinners and the slots.

I've got 7935 now (won a full house earlier) and started last Saturday so need to post 10 tomorrow and 10 Saturday and have a win somewhere along the way in order to win.
Takes me about an hour a day to make the posts and not sure how I can split mine up through the day. Might just have to do the odd post here and there and when way over 10000 (which will take ages then), play my 2000 points that week.
Is a good money maker if it just didn't take so much of my free time!
  • Susan sorry to hear your year has started off so badly, hope things improve soon

Esmer - hope you feel better soon. Happy birthday DD

Step missed you tonight hope you ok?

Sorry if I missed anyone, thread moves so fast.

Well done on money making - I need to get my butt in gear, hopefully find a few bits to put on ebay at week end

2004Alona - Glad my tip about checking cashback sites for IPSOS paid off and that you are one step closer to reaching the £25 payment threshold on Onepollcashback.

Elysia - McCain Its All Good - you collect spud shillings and redeem them for vouchers i.e. £10 HMV/Waterstones - 1000 spuds, £20 Amazon - 2000 spuds. Spud Shillings can be collected across the site. Collect by playing games, watching videos and telling others via twitter, facebook and email. You can also get money off coupons for McCain products. I log on to the site a couple of times per month to see what coupons are available and so far I've got 492 spud shillings.

Oh My!! I have completely lost track of all these posts!! lol. First time on here today as baby is poorly and not slept all day (still not asleep now lil' madam!)....

Anyway.....I have sold a few things on eBay (amounting to £7.95 excl P&P but have got tonnes more to put on at the weekend). I also got my forms for my new savings account. Popping in to Town tomorrow for my annual eye test, so will be nipping in to Card Factory & stocking up on their 7 for £1 cards for birthdays).

Been doing a few surveys too....and have joined bingoport & trying to do 10 posts....so I am getting there slowly! This whole money saving thing is new to me....but is slowly becoming very addictive :)

Poohspals - you go into you amazon account and it says apply a gift certificate. Click on that and paste the code in. This will then be in your account ready - you can add as many as you like, so you don't have to use them one at a time - you can save them up for a big thing.

Hello ladies - right then, it's free listing is it? Ha ha ha *evil laugh* Right then, mini challenge time - Take advantage of the free listing and list a minimum of three extra things (if you can - don't worry if you can't, despite the laugh i'm not evil - I promise LOL)

Off to bingoport - will catch up later.

ETA: sorry Savvy didn't noticed you'd posted - note to self, refresh the page when you make a cuppa next time. ;)

ooooh love the extra bit of challenge.
I will now list the car seat and isofix base as i can put in a decent start price withiut paying, brilliant.
So glad about amazon that you can add them all up was worrying then.
Need to find somthing else to sell now that i would put a higher starting price:j
Looking forward to new ventures

Hello every one. Hope you are all still on track so far?
I have found it difficult to keep up with things today. I have done the bingo and had a win so that was good.
I have completly lost track of survey sites though and have no idea where i am up to :(
I have listed a few bits on ebay with a 99p start not ten as planned but am goin g to wait till the free listing day.
After all my worrying about when the sun holidays start and missing them i got a letter from them today with priority booking form, so happy:T:j:T
I also called tesco to reclaim the clubcard voucher I thought I lost on the day the web site crashed when everyone was trying to exchange befor they reduced the worth.
So overall a day with some goo and some not so good.
Thank you every one for all the wonderful help and support so far:beer:
Looking forward to new ventures

Got so confused reading the last 3 pages as "yesterday" because I know I posted "yesterday" then realised it is after 12! Got a bit of a sore throat, and not feeling tired at all so sitting wrapped in the blanket catching up with everyone!
Had a really productive week on ebay, of 20 things listed 15 have so far sold, 2 others have bids on and there are watchers on all items (one item has 16 watchers!) so fingers crossed. The ebay cupboard downstairs is almost bare, I posted quite a few items yesterday, a couple more to do tomorrow, plus a parcel to pick up from the depot (OH birthday pressie!). However, the alcove at the top of the stairs is still full of items to be ebayed, so I may spend tomorrow photographing and writing my descriptions, and then take some time over Sat and Sun (in between ds football and visiting friends!) to get some more stuff listed. Every little helps!
Picked up my bonus ball winnnings at work today - £20 which has gone in the pot, and checked the Tesco receipt for savings when shopping was delivered tonight - saved £6.80 so got to scrabble in my purse for the change! Can't believe it is still the first week of Jan!!!

  • Wow, things are moving fast wish it was here. I seem to be on a go slow at the moment. Managed to get going on Dooyoo but that might be because I enjoy writing the reviews. Getting no where on Toluna though and have found onepoll very slow.

Susan your bad luck seems to be still going, really sorry to hear this.

I am having a rough time of it at the moment with family problems so struggling a little.

Looked on the replies to me post & some lovely replies from you on there but a special mention is needed:

    RESPECT TO LEGENDMUM'S HAT :T

Why thank you Alona although I must admit that the girls and I found it on a night out! The thread had started to come loose so by the time we all had taken our turn in wearing it I think we left it in a pub! lol!

I got my BingoPort voucher! Am waiting on my vouchers from SonyMusic and the one from Toluna to clear that I put in for on December 2nd? I should then hav about £30 in Amazon vouchers and it only the first week! Woohoo!

I am off to do some posts on BingoPort I do some in the morning and some when I go to play at 8! Find it easier! I do agree that it is time consuming but I do find that when I play between 8-9pm it stops me eating or thinking of food cos I am too busy laughing at you lot!!!:rotfl:

Thanks Kec09. She is fine now and I have taken the insurance form to the vets but I will only get half the bill coz she has a high excess due to a lifetime condition so permanent medication and they take at least six weeks to process a claim.:(

How is your dog and what is wrong?

They were supposed to sort my windscreen yesterday but never turned up so have fired off an e mail to my insurers and will be phoning the windscreen company very soon to find out what is going on. Have they ever heard of letting customers know when they cant turn up.

Still I am calm. I am calm I AM calm.
