Savvy - don't let it get you down. Not everyone is like that.

I'm sorry to hear this. Is this the item that had 55 watchers? What happened? Did the bidding go higher than anticipated and they are regreting their purchase? You're right - they should have told you first.

Sleep on it - I'm sure things will look brighter in the morning hun.

Night night, I'm off now too.

  • It's been one of those days today, lots of rude people and bad manners, with ebay I haven't had one listing session without one problem or another whether that be someone wanting full refund and to keep the item, partial refund for damage done by royal mail, even full refund for an item a buyer wasn't in to collect at the time but waited four weeks before going to the post office to collect and royal mail couldn't locate it. I dont mind if it's genuine or reasonable though.

Lots of bids, I decided (and maybe against better judgement in hindsight) to block a bidder and remove their bids as they had 0 feedback and looked like they were likely to cause problems. This was a few days before the listing ended and the previous bidder won (after a new bidder tried a bid last minute but was outbid) I lost about £10 doing this but felt safer selling to someone with some feedback rather than none. I wouldn't be overly upset if they hadn't have opened the packaging and used the item, I couldn't even gift it niw and reselling I wouldn't get the same value.

Just been one of those days I think but it knocks the wind out of your sails making money for someone to take it back from you especially when it could have been avoided.

Will try to wake up with a new mindset and get back in the game, cheers hun x

    Morning All

Do you remember a few weeks ago I had my first go at answering an opinion topic on T? Well I still haven't had any points for them - did I do it wrong? I've also posted my first opinion topic this morning so if anyone could have a look at it for me I'd appreciate it because I don't know what I'm doing!

I've done all the sponsored polls on T this morning from the last few days so I've earned some point there but not got through any surveys yet.

    Have a good day all

I would refuse the refund Savvy. I always so no refund allowed as I am a private seller. Unless of our the item is faulty and I didnt realise which is totally different as that is an itm not described case. They are taking you for a ride, dont let it be an easy one! I hate how some buyers think they have a right to do whatever they want because they think well Ill give you a negative if you dont do a I say, one negative isnt going to ruin an ebay account.

Have they opened an ebay case or just asked you for a refund in a message?

Savvy - I agree with Giggles and Legend. Don't give in to them. I hope you're feeling brighter this morning.

Julie - I know they go on once a month, but you wouldn't see the points unless you work down the list. If I remember right, they are backdated to the day you did it - so if you did it on the 25th, you would need to scroll back to then. They DO go on, but once a month - you might have just done it after the last batch got approved, and in that case you would have to wait four weeks or so for it to go on (if you see what I mean).

Don't give up - keep doing them. One month - we all had a T challenge - everyone did polls and opinions everyday and our points jumped up so much by sticking will it, it was unbeleivable. Certainly worth it. I have T on my list to things to do, so I'll definately pop and check later. Just off for the school run.

Have a good day everyone :)

    Morning all

I had a pc survey this morning so that took me over my £2.50 for today. I also had a t one that completed, first in ages. Nothing else around though. I think I will leave doing a review to a day when I havent got any other surveys etc. I just cant get motivated to write them at the moment. I might try to get some sewing done later on when OH and YD get up.

We have our new mattress coming this afternoon so wont be going out. My Dad gave us his old mattress (it wasn't that old either) for the spare room on Sunday, and now OH's Dad has said he wants to buy himself a new bed and we can have his old one if we want it. It is a 4 foot one and will easily fit in the spare room and will probably fit in YD's room too so we would be able to get rid of her old bed (about 17years old) and she can either have the bigger bed or the single one from the spare room. The bigger bed is quite new too, he only bought it when he moved in to his flat two years ago. He wants one of those that you can change the position with the buttons so he can sit up etc.
  • Morning all hope everyone is having a busy money making day today.

Thanks for the advice ladies I am going to stand my ground, they have only messaged not opened a case. I sent them a message yesterday saying that the item isn't faulty so I wont accept a return. Haven't heard back but will await a response with baited breath.

On a postive note, I redeemed for a £10 voucher on a panel I wasn't really making an effort with, and had £20 of points added on s&s for a panel I did with them.

Juliejim, points for comments are added once a month on T, I am unsure of when but if you carry on it will soon add up hun.

Off to find more surveys :)

Legend - Does it say your first name on it? - if so, yes it's from me. I didn't expect payment for it though. Thanks very much.

Rufus - Well done on the piney. Don't give up on the reviews, if you don't feel like writing one, see if you can do some rating and earn some extra money that way.

Julie - I've done your opinion on T. Looks good. I hope you're having a good day at work.

I've written two new reviews today - and added them to Chow - I need to wait for them to go on though. I also had one suggested on Dooyoo (one of the one's I've written today) so added that for now, and am waiting for the other product suggestion to go on too.
