    Afternoon all

Well I sold a bag. The lady has bought it through the shop but it is telling me she hasn't paid by Paypal and I can cancel the order tomorrow. I suppose I will just have to play it by ear and see how it goes. She is going to post me the postal orders so I will see what happens when I get them. So that's my £2.50 for today done lol. The bag was £17.50 plus pp.

Just had another look on Folksy and its fine for a customer to pay by postal order so I just have to sort it once I receive them.
  • Afternoon everyone, just a flying visit for now but for those that do Mccain, they have a daily comp on their facebook page to win prizes, some prizes are spud shillings so might be worth a go everyday! no harm in trying anyway.

If I remember rightly someone mentioned using Approved Food. I was just wondering how they deliver and if they are any good. As I live with my dad he would worry if a van turned up with the name all over or if the box had it on. There seems to be some good offers on it but I know he would start asking if there were financial problems that he needed to help with.

He already keeps offering to pay for things and that would make it worse but I do want to gvie them a try.

    Thanks in advance

Bum bum bum. I just lost my reply.

Savvy thanks for that. I'll keep retrying then. I didn't even scan my shopping last week because I knew it wouldn't work. :(

Samba - thanks for the info about the vert code. I didn't know that either. I love there kiddies clothes. Such good quality.

Rufus - well done on the sale. Woohoo. I hope the quilts start to do better now it's turning colder.

Pablos - thanks hun. I found that this morning. I just have to remember to do it every day now. There is a new survey on the site, if you've not done one for a while. My points didn't register at all, so I expect a jump of about 230 or so in the next few weeks.

I redeemed for a £20 amaxon on there two weeks ago tomorrow. When you actually put in for the redeem, it says it takes three days. When I went to inform them it hasn't come yet, it says it takes two weeks. I'll let you know what happens, if it hasn't come soon. I expect I won't receive it anyway - but you never know. :)

Running total so far - 23p DoU, £1 Viva, Crwdlogy 24p, PP 20p. Another 80p odd to find. Be back soon. :)

Karonher - I did sign up after Michelle recommended it. I had an order all ready and then pulled out, and didn't place it.

Trouble is, and why I didn't go for it, is you have to buy in vast quantities to make the p+p worth paying (or to get it free). There are huge bargains to be had, but like I say, the limited range, and huge quantities you had to buy, put me off.

I'm sure Michelle will help you. :)

I highly rate them. They deliver via a DPD courier. The food is packed up inside really large plain cardboard boxes, which do say approved food in some way, but I can't rightly remember if that is on the tape it is sealed in or just on the dispatch note.

I have a pantry full of their food, and none of it has been iffy in any way. DPD are one of the best couriers for me, as they do a 1 hour delivery slot, so you aren't waiting all day for them.

I have seen one of my MSE friends who lives in liverpool complain because her order has been bashed around a few times by the courier and bottles have split. It is always wrapped up, but some things are just messy if they break.

They quite often do free delivery if you spend £35, and its easy to get there. Only trouble is that you can fall into the trap of buying loads of junk for no real reason. I've had pasta, couscous, noodles, bags of bread mix, scone mix, jelly, blacmanges, and all has been fine. Currently they have large bags of pasta which look great.

Can I be cheeky and ask you to say you recommended me if you use it. They will put a small credit of £1 to my account for my next order. That's if someone else has not asked you to do it. All you need is my email address which I can PM you.

If your dad is just reading the outer box, unless he were to go and google who it was, he wouldn't know it was cheap. You could always just say it is a wholesaler.

Thanks Elyssia and cha97michelle. I will have a look on it tonight and will give your e mail address Michelle. The stuff you mentioned is all things I buy anyway so it should be fine.

Also thanks for the swag code - it took me a while to find where to put it but it was still oK.
