Rufus so sorry about your FIL hope all goes well and he makes a speedy recovery.

Claire glad things are sorted re childcare and hope DH gets sorted in hospital tomorrow!

Phew all go with us lot! Connor has returned from my Mums and his cough has now become worse and he has a runny nose and has only eaten a fried egg and 3 ice lollies! He refused Sunday dinner and my boy never refuse food! His throat is red but I am awaiting those yellow spots because his tonsils just love to be yellow! I have given him cough medicine and calpol for now but think schools out tomorrow!

Savvy dont forgot S&S I have just done mine and now off to tissue!

  • Rufus, I hope your FIL is on the mend soon xx
  • Im sorry to hear about everyones families being ill :( Big get well soon thoughts going out to everyone!

Well never did get round to listing my ebay as I got caught up in the tesco electricals thread! Ive got a physio app at 8am which is near one of the big tescos so I would be passing it to go, so could go at 7am, however it opens at 6am and Im trying to decide if its worth going at 6am and potentially having over an hour to kill! Suppose its worth it if I get the bargains but thats never a guarentee!

Anyone else planning an early morning trip to tescos?
  • LOL. I can't go Giggles - I have the school run. It might be worth your while though - you could always sit in the cafe and have a coffee.

Michelle - sorry. I didn't think about the cat, and I was trying to save you some pennies. I thought they were a lot more than that, never having one before. For the use you'll get out of it, it sounds like a bargain.

How lovely of your mum to give you the puppy for Christmas. How about your mum still giving you the puppy, but you reimbursing her for all the injections, and extra stuff she's paid so far? That way she'll be getting back some of her initial costs and you won't have to find so much money either. Win - Win for both of you. :)

I love that your sister is having a puppy too. They'll grow up together. I'm so excited for you. Did you say it's next week you're getting him? Have you thought of any names yet?

Thanks for the reminder Legend - I haven't done either as I've been sorting ebay, and then my comp. I'm all up and running again now. I'd best go and do them quickly before bed.

    Night all xxx

  • Morning guys.

I'm feeling a little sleepy myself. Own fault here though as I was still mucking around on the computer. I did most of the day 8am to 1 am yesterday, and it is no good for me. I'm going to make sure I get out for a bit in the garden today with DS2. Otherwise they'll have me collapsing again with being tired.

Sorry to hear we are starting to get September bugs. My two were both sniffly, but they are always shattered too. I've been making them have a vitamin tablet every morning to give them a bit of a boost. We all need to enjoy some of this sun this week, before it disappears altogether for the winter.

I need to up my game on reviewing this week. I've lost my motivation this past week. 4 have gone on, but not all new. I won't hit £50 very quickly at this rate.

The pup arrives on the 5th of October. By the sound of it, mum is keeping one too, so 3 out of the 4 will grow up in close proximity. I think in reality, she has also struggled to sell them. The other one hasn't sold yet either, so she may end up with 2. She is worried she will end up with 6 dogs if she doesn't sell them, and I know they are only small, but really, it would be too much. I had thought about giving her the cost of the vet stuff myself too. It doesn't seem fair otherwise. The pups are so healthy and well looked after. The vet was surprised that all 4 were still alive and that the mum had recovered so well after the ceasarian. No-one is interested in buying them though, they have had loads of people contact them, but they don't want to pay for them. They want them either so cheaply it is an insult (one person offered £30) of say they will give it a good home for free.

I am getting quite excited now by it. Can't wait for next week.

Congratulations hon. I am glad you got to find out. I would not be without my boys. Pains in the bum, but so loving all the time.
