Ok today is the day, the baby WILL be in a good position and have its legs wide open, its heart uncovered and its face clearly visible. Going to trawl around the survey sites now, sign up to a few new ones to pass some time aswell!
I have to have the diabetes test in a few weeks - the midwife really freaked me out when she was telling me about it. I have to take OH and some sandwiches with me to eat straight after its finished because theyve had a few people pass out! great...really put my mind at ease there hahaha. Your midwife sounds much nicer!May Grocery Challenge -£216/4000 -
Good Pablosmummy hope it goes well and cant wait to know what your having!!!
Elysia if I dont buy the cake we wont have 1! Only doing it for DS really! I am sure OH doesnt know where Tescos is let alone where the cakes would be!!!! Presents??? Haha! Be lucky if I get a card! He usually just gives me cash as he doesnt know what to buy, in other words hes too lazy to even attempt a guess! The only thing I have asked him to do is to help Connor male me a card, not holding my breath on that 1 either! Oh well I am looking forward to a night out with the girls Saturday, 1st time this year!!! Lord help me Sunday!!!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

My DH made me a cake the first birthday I had when we were living together. He looked through my recipe books, picked a low fat one and everything, then forgot to put any sugar in and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. He's never bothered again since then. :rotfl:
Good luck with the scan pablosmummy. Hope baby behaves today.0 -
Morning everyone, feeling alot better, however my 2 year old has my cold now, so I think I am in for a rough few days. second night at college last night for my childminding course and came home with quite a bit of homework, so must get that done this week, and not just chuck my folder on the shelf out of the kiddos way and forget about it.

Hi all I have recently broken my arm and as a result have had some time off work. This has given me the opportunity to read some of the threads on here. I really need to cut back on my spending and have picked up lots of tips from you guys - thanks xx I thought I was quite savvy but can see I have a long way to go yet. I know it is late in the year but can I join the group?
Thanks

Hi everyone!!
Ive been reading a lot of the posts on here, and taken the plunge and joined!! I've picked up a lot tips that I am going to use as of today as its a quiet work day. I did stop doing the Toluna surveys as I was being rejected 10/10 surverys I did and there were a lot of horror stories about the length of time wating for the vouchers etc. Mine took 3 months to arrive!!
My thinking is that I barely have anything coming in now, and lots going out, I need to get sorted. Any advice ladies (and any gents on here) will be gratefully received!

Every cloud has a silver lining then, eh? Small one at least. The threads here are enough to entertain anyone at home ill. That is how I originally came across them.
Josielouh - my advice is, check out the first couple of posts to find out what we do, then jump in. Join some places. Ask people if they want to refer you anywhere, and if you have any questions at all, then ask and we'll help best we can. We all started small. It has taken me years to get to here. The last 18 months or so, I went from doing very infrequent surveys, to now treating money making and saving like my job. We have some good monthly earnings because we dabble in a lot of places. Don't try and do it all at once, build up, and only take on new stuff when you get your head round the first thing is my tip.0
