  • Hello ladies, not many surveys over here either managed £2 on viva last night.

I got £14 on the pf, it says in my account 1400 of 10p's dont know how it's worked out but loads better than my 2 quid last month!! I'm upto 11/15 reviews so thats going well, if I do more then thats a bonus.

Great mini challenge Elysia, I've sorted out DD's clothes, washed and sorted out all of the ages. Just got to take photos tonight and hopefully get some bits on!

  • Well done. That is a good amount. :D Mine says £23 now it has sorted itself out.

I got £2 on viva as well which took me over payout. Due on 29/09. I will reach payout about every 5-6 weeks under the new system I reckon unless I get great at checking.
  • Well done on all your Chow results ladies :)

Also, thanks for the mini Ebay challenge Elysia. Last night I sorted out some things to Ebay, including three Nintendo DS games that I have completed and won't want to play again. Hopefully they'll go for more than the usual 99p I sell things for! I might have a look and see the average selling price of them and start them a little higher than 99p as it's free listing. I also found DS's Halloween outfit from last year. He loved it and wants to wear it again this year but I don't think it will fit him. If it doesn't, that can go on Ebay too, hopefully good timing for anyone thinking about Halloween.

Ooh, just had a thought. I think I'll check the trade in value of the games before I put them on Ebay. Anyone got any recommendations for where to try?

  • Hi thrifty girls :D

I am totally ran off my feet at uni at the moment hence my lack of attendance on this thread - have been reading the odd bit on the go but little time to reply. Have been doing what I can re surveys - stuck in another viva redeem this morning, and one on VO. Reviewing totally off the agenda just now due to lack of time.

Glad you are all still doing well. Good going on Chow folks :T

Hope to be around a bit more next week. Have a good weekend!

  • Hi

My dad started his chemo this week and hasn't had too many side effects :)

Thanks for the mini ebay challenge - I've just made a list of possible items and am about to do some research ;)

Nicky - I've seen somewhere that Mr T does trade in but not sure if you can get prices online. I took some DS games to Game to get an idea of what they'd give me, or there's music magpie. Am going to check prices on ebay but may end up back at game for the convenience.

I've had 2 on viva today, but have only just redeemed, so it looks like it will be a long time til another claim.

Have got a MS pizza delivery tonight :D:D

Hope everyone is having a good w/e x

Hiya Ladies - my netbook has totally thrown a wobbly as it's jealous about the other thing. ;) It's taken me hours to get back on the internet - about three to be exact. Grrr.

Skiergirl - so, so, glad to hear your Dad is doing well. Thanks for keeping us updated, and send him our best wishes. :) It doesn't matter how long it takes you to redeem, as long as you do ;) Any money in is most welcome. Have you had any time to yourself. I hope you enjoyed your pizza. :)

Pink - thanks for popping in honey. We know how busy you are :) Well done on doing what you can, and not giving in. :D

Nicky - Mum2one usually trades hers in at Argos, if I remember rightly. How much did you get for them, have you looked yet? I have to sort a few out too. Now is the right time to sell them. :) I hope you get to put some items on ebay.

Cornish - £14on the pf, well done hun. That's excellent news. Before this month the highest I got was £12, so you've done fabulously :D Come on girl, get that listing done. ;)

Michelle - how's the chacha coming along? I hope the promotion is kind to you, and you make loads of money. :)

Despite having internet trouble, I've managed to get 7 items on ebay, but one's for my mum. I have another box full tomorrow too. I can't be bothered now. I've also written another review, so will post it in the morning. I'm sorry I've not been up to date with my rating this week, hopefully I can catch up any I've missed tomorrow.

Have a nice evening everyone, whatever you're doing, have fun.

Well this month I got £2 on PF but I knew thats what it would be as i only had 1 E rating, next month I have about 10 E ratings 9 of which are on the same review, not sure what made that review so good wish i did as I could do with some more E's! Haven't been writing much recently so need to get back into it, think i will try and write some in the morning when it's just me and youngest DD.

Right then Emma - Challenge time.

How many reviews are you aiming for? - its 100 days until Christmas. I know you're good and can write a couple a day easily :) Do you want to go for something like 7 over the week, one a day, or 100 before Christmas? Have a think about what will suit you better, let us know, and I'll be checking on you, keeping you on your toes. :)

  • Skier - Glad to hear your dad is doing ok!
Elysia - I was as suprised with my £14 as you was with your £33, well done!!

I had a huge shock when I went to get DD from her nap this afternoon, her leg was literally fully over her cot and she was trying to pull herself out  Good job it's a heavy cot or she would have toppled it over!! Looks like she'll be going into a big girl bed sooner than I thought. Need to get a bed guard then the sides will be coming off it in the next couple of days!

Taken a few piccies for ebay, had a break for xfactor, even though the auditions are a load of tosh :rotfl:

    Evening everyone

I did loads of rating on DY today, I didnt get round to doing a review though. I was too late on Viva, I forgot all about checking it until this evening. I am off out tomorrow to a quilt fair with my bro and sil so will probs be spending instead of saving but I am looking forward to it. I dont have much money to take with me anyway so I wont be able to spend too much.
