Foxy - so sorry to hear about what happened, it must be a total nightmare. I hope they catch them who did it. Can you put bolts on the back of your door? I have bolts on the back of mine but I still dont think I would feel safe at night when OH is at work without having my dog here with me. He frightens anyone off who comes in our garden.0

Foxy - Oh no! So sorry to hear that. My sister is a really tough cookie, but when she got burgled, I totally saw another side to her. She was a total wreck too, so I can understand how you feel. If you need help go get it though, no use making yourself worse, you'll be no good to anyone then. The docs are there to help. You did really well with the challenge hun. I'm so proud of you.
If I can help in any way, just shout - I'm always here.
Cornish - no use getting yourself worked up either. Silly - if you were worried about the DoU challenge you could just lower it. It's just for motivation, its not the law - you do as much or as little as you like.
Please don't get that way again, the money making isn't worth it. We're all friends - if you have a problem tell us. OK? :A
I hope things went OK with the other grandparents. It's tough keeping every one happy, I know. Both my DD's only have one set of grandparents, so I don't have that trouble - my mum's bad enough on her own.
Michelle - I hope you enjoyed every minute spending all that money.
I would have - and at least you got something you needed too - OK, needed and not wanted isn't the same, but it still feels good.
I did my myst3ry shop - I had to go to Su6way. I took DD2 with me, we had to visit the loo ( and check it was nice) so while we were in there I said to DD, we are special agents like James Bond - look at the ladies name tag and remember her name, other than that don't say a word. There was I ordering my sandwich, and she's whispering loudly 'she hasn't got a name tag mum. What do I do?' ' mum what do i do now? 'MUM, MUm (getting louder) she hasn't got a nametag mum,' I don't think I'll be taking her again. I didn't even get to eat it, as DD1 claimed it when I got home.

Oh Foxy that is awful!! The way this country is really worries me, what are my children going to end up living in??
Had another thought for money saving last night and I am going to have a chocolate box, like a swear box but for choccy!! I'm still trying to lose weight (I am hopeless) and thought if I want choc and resist then I put 50p in box, if I give in and have it I will put in a £1. It already has £1 in it!!!!! Should be a HUGE money saver lol0 -
Elysia that is very funny, I made my two go and play in the corner with the toys when I did the vets myste3y shop. I felt very self concious as it was and was sure I was really red!!!0

Foxy hun I hope your ok, similar happened to me about six years ago, someone broke into the garage, my mum had walked out there to find a guy trying to steal everything, she screamed and he ran off but it left us all really shook up. Oddly the house had a really good alarm system with panic buttons by the front door, the works but the garage wasn't covered by it. I had panic attacks too, i felt so terrified that I couldn't drive at night alone as I would panic, and when I did get home I would run to the front door. As you could imagine it was awful during the winter months. It took me a long time to get rid of my anxiety I would say at least a year, these people just don't care how they affect other people.
I don't think I had withdrawel symptoms but if I did I would have put it down to lack of sleep I think and a noisy toddler lol. Feel much better for it, I gave up smoking before we were expecting dd and rarely drink alcohol too, I have only one guilty pleasure left - a chocolate here and there
Hope everyone has perked up a bit today, early night for you all I think

Stepmum - ooh great idea.
A couple of years ago my box would have been full of £1 coins in days, but I can't eat chocolate much now, due to a stomach complaint. I can only eat a couple of squares every couple of days, so the bar I bought earlier will last me a month.
I haven't lost any weight though.

Sorry I was typing as you posted.
Congratulations on the birth of LUKE, Mummytothreeboys
I'm so glad he arrived safe and sound. Home birth, and cloth nappies - that's a rarity these days. Well done.

Foxy so sorry to hear about that. I don't blame you for being shook up. I was in an armed robbery at my parents house nearly 9 years ago and it still gets me every now and again as it is in your home. If you need to get stuff off your chest, do it. Hold it in and it takes longer to get over it. Take care. xxx
Mummyto3boys how lovely to hear Luke has arrived safely. Congratulations. Enjoy it, as we all know how quick it passes.
It's funny hearing some of you talk about giving up coffee. I've just started this week trying to cut back again. It's killing me though. I am so tired and short tempered. I'm hoping it passes quickly. It's hard going cold turkey.0 -
Congratulations Mummytothreeboys and welcome to baby Luke xx0
