Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend it is so quiet here (and literally here too) :D

Just been going through dd's presents for her birthday and there isn't as much as I thought mainly as most of it is probably a little bit older for her than is suitable at the moment so we have put some things back fr Christmas. Thinking about it I feel a bit stingy. I plan to put money into her savings as well as what she has and I have £20 vocuhers for Disney so that will be used for something too. We are taking her to a wildlife park for her birthday which she will love but theres this little part of me that says that it isn't enough. How bad is that :(

Got lots of bargains this week, lovely trunki half price and a strawberry plant growing kit from M&S for 70p was £9.50 amongst a few, was wondering can strawberries still grow well at this time of year?

savvy - don't feel bad. You buy more and they don't play with it. We have stuff here never been played with as they get their favourites they don't want to put down and a £40 thing is unused and a 50p thing is worn out. A trip out is lovely, and a bit of something to unwrap and lots of attention, and you will be fine.

    Hello everyone
Sorry not been around for ages, having a really really bad time, much worse than before. OH left again 2 weeks ago now saying he can't decide if he wants to be with me or this other woman he met.

It has hit me ten times harder this time, I am barely existing, I am just making it to work and back home, not left the house since it happened apart from going to work, I can't carry on much longer with that though, I can't face anything anymore.

Sorry to be posting this here really feel like I need to talk to someone but I have no-one. As soon as I walk out of work the tears start flowing and they don't stop until I have to go back. I am waiting to hear his decision and its breaking my heart every day, I don't know what I will do if he does not choose me, I don't know how much longer I can wait for this decision either.

I don't know what to do anymore or why I am being punished like this.

I hope you are all well and are having a better time than me x

Hugs to you Kec09, stay strong, and remember you deserve so much more. We are here if you need to let it out xxx

Savvy - plant your strawberries up, they'll be fine. Just remember to try and keep them frost free over winter, as they won't have had long for their roots to establish.

I wrote a review on my tumble dryer this afternoon (waiting for it to be added on both sites). DD1 gave me a manicure and pedicure this afternoon too. Bless her, my feet aren't the nicest of things. I wrote another review this evening (posted on chow, but as a suggestion on DooU). I'm not sure but I think I'm at 16/25 now. :)

Off to make this jam, and them do some more rating. (Michelle I did that E I forgot about. thanks for the reminder ;)).

    See you later

I am well chuffed ladies! An opinion I did this morning on Tol has already got 40 replies! So have had 500 and 1000 points for that! Also had points for another getting to a certain amount! What a quick turn around and they are mostly from random strangers! I may be getting back into this Tolunaing malarky!

Having just posted this I just checked and now have had another 2000 points for gettin 41 on the opinion I posted this morning! WOOHOO

  • Kec - I'm so sorry you have to go through all of that. It would be best to get things sorted either way sooner rather than later because having it all up in the air is awful! You've had some great words from these ladies, we are all here x

Savvy - Don't feel stingy, the day out sounds fab. I personally hate the way birthdays have to be the '2nd christmas' these days. I was lucky if I got £20 spent on me for birthdays and I didn't feel deprived, it's just the way things were, now it's escalating like theres no tomorrow!

I'm currently on 6/28 reviews on DY, and copying old ones over to chow, I'm getting the hang of it abit more now can see whos rated on the left hand side of the review, it would be so much easier if it had something like DY. Got some ebay bits ending at the mo, only 1 with a bid but its all stuff that i havent been able to sell previously... it's all gotta sell one day lol. Also used my first amazon voucher already, god it feels good spending free money :rotfl:

That's excellent Legend :j. Once you get enough replies on your opinion it seems to add up really quickly. I haven't been on yet today so I'll go and do your latest in a minute.

Savvy - Don't feel stingy, there's no need. We've had 3 years of DS's birthdays and Christmases where I buy extra presents because I don't think he's got enough, Those things are then very rarely played with and to be honest, he'd have been quite happy with just the few I had him originally, before I then wasted his time getting him to unwrap a mountain of other things just because I thought I should! We always do a day trip somewhere nice as well, often a zoo or something similar and those trips are what he really remembers. I think it's a great idea to take your DD to the wildlife park, days out with the family are such a wonderful experience and are so much more valuable than a pile of unnecessary presents.

Just spent about an hour on tolly. If I haven't got people on there and I am missing you, please add me as I am awful at catching up. Please prod me. I'm same on there as here.

Other than that, I'm finding reading/rating so slow today. Where is everyone? Thanks so much Elysia. That one extra from you made me go over the threshold to E. Fingers crossed it stays that way. There is nothing else I can do now but lots more rating and hope people will be kind.

I also did a couple of My survey ones today, which took me over the £3 mark so i got some paypal.

DH told me today he spent £100 on some wheels for his car yesterday, and then reminded me his car insurance is due on the 1st of September, and we also have TV license due. Then with holiday spends and the rest of the school uniform bits, maybe I need to keep an eye on income a bit better.

Michelle - it all comes at once doesn't it? I noticed my last review on Chow doesn't earn any money, so I altered them around so a high paying one, is first on the list. :)

Cornish - it sounds like you're getting the hang of it now. I only found the list last week, so you're doing well. :)

Legend - wey hey. Been busy doing other stuff - but I'm waiting for my product suggestions to be added, so I might give reviewing a day off tomorrow and concentrate on T. I be there don't worry.

Savvy - I agree with everyone as usual. You all give such good advice. :D. My DD2 has stuff unopened from two years ago upstairs. I'm guilty as charged for spending too much. My DD's rarely get presents off anyone else, so I feel the need to make up for it, by going overboard with stuff neither wanted nor needed. I'm not doing that this year.

Well done Claire - Peace and quiet. Isn't it bliss? That's without the OH, not the kids. :) Well done on the reviews. I'll be there to rate in the morning.

Foxy - Hiya hun. How's things coming along?

Nicky - How's bump? apart from a lack of Ice pops, how are you?

I've had an eventful day, so I'm just going to check grabbit and see what I've missed, and then head off to bed. Night all xxx
