Sorry to hear about your dad skiergirl, hope he makes a full recovery quickly hun.

You must think my totals are abysmal then, £57 :( Could have done with a cash boost really, things have taken a turn for the worst without a netbook or laptop as I only get a few hours in the morning to do everything.

Will be much better when I can get listing on ebay later next week.

Michelle, with the person who read your reviews before doing their own, did they actually copy your review? If they have ciao will pick up on it anyway as they have software they run the reviews through which highlight if anything has been copied from most of the review sites on the web. I have often checked others reviews before reviewing my own to see what other people thought of the product , I never copy though but it is nice to see what others think, I review mostly makeup and toiletries so maybe that's why lol

Nevermind, here's to a better August...

Savvy - you did what you could and that's all anyone can ask for! You did brilliantly in the couple of weeks you could properly work at it. You should be proud of yourself - £57 is not to be sniffed at. You did well. :)

Michelle - can you pm me who it was, so I can keep an eye out for them. I really abhore that kind of thing - you work hard writing, for someone to come and steal your hard work. Grrr. Was the promotion for Windows 9? If there's only three I might have a go at being the fourth. I'm not very computer literate though, and reading your review I didn't notice the torn paper bit, or the list of suggested sites - so maybe not. I just talked myself out of it then. LOL. Good luck for tomorrow. I owe you an E for that one. I'm all out ;)

    Hi everyone

I am back from decorating at my Dad's, we got quite a bit done but didn't have time to start hanging the new wall paper so that has been left for another day.

Hi Skiergirl, sorry to hear about your Dad xx

Just caught up with the thread, I havent done my proper totals for July as I cant get on my spread sheet at the moment. I know I had a good month though as I had another sale on my Folksy shop yesterday, sold a quilt for £50. I had my £50 YG cheque too so that is £100 and I have sold quite a bit on EB, must be about £50 on there this month plus I had another sale earlier in the month on my shop. I cant remember whether the two vouchers came from T this month now or whether that was last month lol, but I know I had nearly £10 from viva on Friday so I reckon about £166 this month.

Hopefully I will get my £50 cheque from NV this month and also the £20 voucher from DY so that will be a good start for August. I also claimed another £15 voucher from T on Saturday morning so I have two outstanding from there again.

Another 2 done taking me to 4 today. I couldn't do this many every day though, not without dropping the quality a lot.

the person who has done this has actually been a bit more clever than done a straight copy.

Basically, I go along, have a crack at this review, say my bit. Then person number 2 goes along and works in IT, and writes a cracking review that is completely different to mine and really good.

Then person 3 has come along, and to me it looks like she has read the 2 reviews, then she has tried to make hers better with not directly copying, but using points that i made and points almost word for word from person 2. I am thinking she will probably get away with it, and I would probably not have challenged it if someone hadn't sent me a PM last week saying watch out for her. I've sent the message anyway to ciao hoping they keep records, and if enough people keep saying she is doing it, then maybe they will catch her at it.

She says she wrote it a few days ago and had not even seen mine when she wrote it, which I guess boils down to my word against hers, and what she says sounds reasonable enough with it not being a direct copy. I 'know' though.

Elysia I will Pm you and tell you who, and give you some tips about that review.

    Hi everyone,

Back from holiday and trying to catch up on the news here and all my surveys and reviews. Came back to lots of survey invites, managed to do some but got kicked out of others. Having the same viva probs as others - am v close to redeem on there. Sorry to hear you are being copied Michelle, that's really awful.

    July total £70.10

    Cash £15.10
    Vouchers £55.00

Not too bad really, especially since I lost a week or so towards the end with being away.

Thanks for the support guys. I guess I will just hold my head up high that I can think of my own original stuff and not let it get to me. I'm just going to continue as I was. I've had a fab month over on chow and one thing is not going to spoil it for me.

I just looked at my E ratings. It was 69 at the end of June, and 141 now. Let's see if that gives any more of a clue to that premium fund. :rotfl:

Welcome back pinkfluffybabe. I hope you have had a lovely stress free break. I can't wait for mine in some ways. We are going to a house without TV or internet, which I think is going to be hard, but good for us to have a forced break. Otherwise I would feel obliged to keep trying to do stuff because I could.

cornish chick - definitely keep a record. You'll amaze yourself, and then you will work to beat it, and so on.

fingers crossed for viva crediting in the morning!

not bothering with my totals as I know this month they have been very low if not zero hahaha.

So with that in mind I have added synovate to my list of survey sites in the favs. I did join it a few weeks ago but never did any of the surveys. But going to start doing that now too and see how I get on. I like that you can redeem for actual cash and that they give you points even if you dont qualify for the survey.

Also have some watchers on my ebay listings already so thats good :D. Car boot planned for 2 weeks time (weather permitting!).

Ive only just been paid but Im already skint as I am trying so hard to pay off my debts so I can start planning the future then!

I don't mind synovate, but 100 points is about 9p I worked out so not well paid. Oh well. I did get a good product test of soap powder. I did all my washing with it for 6 weeks. I keep doing it in the hope of more products.
