Nicky great bargain there. Save them. Be strong. (Says me who bought my 2 ben 10 bedding for christmas but gave them it last weekend as we moved beds around and it was a nice treat. oops)
emma quick - what can you find worth 60p per review to get that total up in time. From the top of my head, kitchen appliances, baby buggy, high end cosmetics, baby car seat, digital cameras and camcorders, computers. Might be worth having a trawl through to see what you can find.
claire enjoy your break. Hope you get good weather.
elysia hope tomorrow is fab for you. Take the whole day off and enjoy yourself i say.
savvy, well done on getting that assignment in.
Is it bad of me that my first thought about the sew in labels was that I could unpick them and re-use them so they should last me years.
I am so tight it is unbelievable.
Spent most of yesterday evening sorting out a long list of sites I use and how to go about it for best income for my sister in law. She apparently joined dy months ago but didn't tell me until now. Quite funny. Maybe even more so if I saw her stuff without realising. I am trying to persuade her to get more involved.0 -
New review went on each site, so I am now up to 13/35. And i wonder why I am tired all the time?
Absolutely shattered, so i am going to call it a night.
See you all tomorrow x0 -
Hi emmad - why not have a look on some of the other threads in this part of the forum, there are some great ideas there for things to make for stalls etc.
Savvy - sorry about the netbook. YD is always dropping hers and its still working ok at the moment. The keyboard doesnt work so we have had to buy her a plug in one, she got one of those roll up thingys which is fine for her, only cost about £2.99 from Amazon lol. We have had to reinstall windows twice but its still plodding along at the moment.
Nicky, well done on the Ebay buy. Why dont you keep an eye out for a box that they fit in between now and then and put them in it. I did this for YD last year with some Barbie's, I bought some off Ebay for her and did them up with new clothes and did their hair nice and put them in a box for her.
Michelle - well done on the reviewing. I used to do that with the unpicking lol, that was before I found Ebay sold these labels. The first lot I got done for my son when he went to secondary school cost me about £11!!
Elysia - have a lovely day and hope you enjoy the cinema. I would love to go a bit more often but OH refuses to go for some reason. I know he would love it if he was to come as he loves films but he is so stubborn. He hasnt been since he was a child and now that I go now and then with ED he has this thing where he wont go because its me who wants to go lol. Plus he dont want to spend on tickets to get in. Bet if I said I would pay he would come.
Glad to help with the labels everyone. I got another review done this morning on DY. Only about 700 points away from a voucher. Thats 5/25 done. Off to do some rating for a bit while I am waiting for son to come and pick up GS. Then dinner to cook and the Grand Prix this afternoon.0 -
Morning everyone.
Happy birthday to Elysia, and I hope everyone has a lovely day. The sun is out again today, and that makes all the difference to me.
emma my first thought last night was that you might make something like christmas decorations, but that is obviously very seasonal. strings of beads instead of tinsel, hanging decorations. Dream catchers? wind chime type things for hanging up with pretty crystals that catch the light, window decorations, wine glass charms. I've seen others who have branched out into childrens jewellery, or do small kits with instructions for people who want to do their own jewellery.
That is just a quick brainstorm, and if i think of anything else i will say.0 -
