Afternoon everyone
Had a busy day so far so havent been on much, just read through some posts earlier but didnt have time to post my self. I bought some of those woven name tags like you put on school uniforms, had them done with handmade by rufusdog on them and a little pic of a dog at one end. I spent the morning sewing some on my stuff already in my shop and am really pleased with them.
Had loads of surveys this morning but screened out of them all. Managed two on Viva last night but nowhere near another redeem on there at the moment. Haven't got a review done today yet but might be able to get one done in a bit as dinner is cooked ready for tonight and not much else to do.
Savvy, sorry you have had such a run of bad luck, lets hope its run its course now and things will look up. Thanks for the comment on the bag x
Cornish, sorry about the test, must be annoying to wait that long again, hopefully you will get a cancellation. My eldest daughter is having driving lessons at the moment.
Michelle, thanks for posting the code earlier, I managed to get that one. First one in days that hadn't expired. Hope you ave a nice day weekend with your family.
Giggles, hope the wedding goes ok, my son has gone to one too today, that's why I have grandson round.
Have a nice holiday Claire and Elysia. Isn't it your birthday tomorrow? Have a lovely day xx0 -
Sorry Legend, I missed you out lol, bet you were glad to get the house finished. We painted our front of house two or three weeks ago. It looks so nice and bright out there now, shows up the rest of the street lol. Luckily OH did all the painting, he loves doing it. Only trouble is once he starts he can't stop and goes around the house with the paint brush in his hand to see what else he can paint. Also hes not the worlds best at it bless, he is ok doing the masonry bit but hopeless with gloss, puts it on so thick it runs and doesnt go back to check. I have had to go round over the last year with the hot gun scraping it all off the doors etc and doing them all again as they were in such a mess. He painted the woodwork in our bedroom once while I was out, it used to be white with a peach coloured wall paper. When I got home he had painted it all postbox red!! Looked a state, it was all dripping down the wall paper. I had to paint over it all again with white and then re-paper the room again.0

You're lucky Rufus - my OH is so tight, he paints, but he barely has anything on the brush, so it hardly looks like it's been done. I have to go round after him and paint if properly too.

I love the sound of those labels - are they the printed ones or the woven ones? That reminds me, I need some more for uniform, and the vinyl ones for beakers, and sandwich boxes etc. Good job there's a bit of money in Paypal - my last Viva payment.
Thanks Rufus for the birthday wishes. Yes it's tomorrow. 21 again.
I've had half my pressies already. Mum, and SDad came, and then my sister. We're all off the cinema in the morning (free tickets) and so they came today instead.
I've written another review woohoo, two today, but as it's for that BS satsuma stuff I've been reviewing, I'd best post it next week, I don't want to bore everyone stiff. :rotfl:I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Elysia , they are the woven ones, I had them done in pink with a script font and they look really nice sewn on my things. They were not that dear either on Ebay, £2.99 plus 99p pp for 72 labels. The seller was called woven-name-tapes. Only took about 2 days to arrive too.0

Thanks for sharing that company rufus - i just ordered some name tapes for my 2 for their school uniform. I was just going to get some iron on ones again, but i ended up having to sew them in as well and they looked awful. These look really nice, and 72 should see them through quite a way of primary school. :rotfl:
If delivery is as quick as you say, then I will get the uniform I have bought labelled and then I won't have to worry for September.
I love being organised. 0 -
Legend - well done on getting the house painted, sounds like you put alot of effort in hun. Very organised with the wrapping, I wrapped some of the suprise presents for hubby so he wouldn't snoop, not sure whats in each one now lol so much a suprise for me as him!
michelle - hope you enjoyed your lay in, can't remember what one of those is :rotfl:
cornish - sorry to hear you failed your test, october is a long time to wait but I am sure you will nail it next time.
elysia - have a lovely birthday tomorrow hope you are spoilt rotten
, have you decided what your going to watch at the cinema yet?
rufus - those labels sound lovely and a really nice touch to your crafts.
giggles - have a lovely time at the wedding hun, hope the weathe stayed nice for the happy couple. Thanks for the kind words, it has helped alot today x
clairey - well done on your totals, I think they are brilliant as there hasn't been many surveys this month so well done, definately more than me and it all adds up.
I hope I haven't forgoten anyone!
Bad news with the netbook, unable to recover my documents so I have lost my money making totals, present lists and costs amongst other things. Luckily mp3s and photos are backed up and my assignment was backed up just i time, phew!
Assignment submitted but not expecting a good score, I done all I can but at least it's done. Going to be carrying on loading my stuff onto the laptop, might list a couple of bits on ebay whilst I have a free evening and see if I can clear out the surveys in my inbox, fun times lolComping wishlist for 2017

Hi all, hope all are well, need some ideas, I make jewellery and have been doing craft fairs for years, have done one today and found that so many people are doing their own jewellery now that we didn't take much, wondering if anyone has any ideas for something simple and cheap to boost these fairs doesn't have to be linked to jewellery willing to try anything. Working hard on DU at the min, at £87 and wanting a £100 cheque asap as it is gonna be spends for our hols in 4 weeks (i know i won't get the cheque cashed in time but want to know i have earnt it) the site going down for a week really didn't help me. Hope all the money making is going well, i'm really pleased have sold a load of baby clothes on ebay and with what i have made i have managed to buy the majority of my daughters presents for her first birthday just a couple of outfits and she will be done, then to start on xmasTo get to Disneyland Florida 20160

Rufus - thanks for sharing about those labels, I think I'll get some for DS's uniform as he will be wearing little school t-shirts when he starts nursery in September. They've asked for EVERYTHING to be labelled so 72 labels should do me fine

Claire - have a great time camping
Savvy - I hope things start picking up for you.
Elysia - have a lovely birthday tomorrow, what are you seeing at the cinema?
I've done a bit on Maxi, there were some videos I hadn't done and for some reason every video seemed to be on twice so it gave me double points!
I'm also really pleased as I got a great buy on Ebay earlier. My DS LOVES Star Wars and has loads of the little toy figures, they cost around £8 each so not at all cheap. I spotted a bundle of 9 figures on Ebay and managed to win them for just under £12, which is less than the normal price of just 2 figures! He won't care at all that they don't come in a box. I just hope I can stop myself from giving them to him straight away as I want to save them for his birthday

Emma I can't really help - I have made some jewellery but only for gifts, and nothing up to your standard I suppose. Every Tom, !!!!!! and Harry are doing bag charms, book marks etc, it's going to be tough trying to find something that little bit different to everyone else.
Well done on all your reviewing - you've really pushed yourself. I could tell. I hope you get your cheque before your deadline, and have a wonderful holiday. You deserve the break.
Well done on the other review Claire. I missed that one - I hate it now the email is down. I'll go back and check everyone while I'm there.
Savvy - thank you, and I'm sorry your computer couldn't be fixed. I've never heard of people losing their number in that short space of time! Isn't it usually when you've not made a call for six months that they recall your number?
Nicky - bargain. DS will love them.
We're going to see Mr Poppers penguins - four free tickets courtesy of the freebie board. I haven't managed to get any freebie ones for ages, but I used to get them about once a fortnight. It was brilliant, and saved a fortune.
Right, popping over to Doou for a final check. Take care everyone. xI :heartpuls M.S.E.
