I know but it worked out cheaper than buying the odd one, and then I have spares. I used to go on there too. I was spending more than I was earning so I decided to not go on again. ;)

This is what I came on to post before I got distracted. LOL

Dooyoo have picked the prize winners for the 600 'likers' on FB. None of these are any of use, is it?

1st Prize: 20,000 dMs goes to Caroline Wake
2nd Prize: 10,000 dMs goes to Matthew Binns
3rd Prize: 5,000 goes to Julie Herbert
and the dooyoo Prize Pack goes to Raisa Allgar!

BunBun and Elysia - thanks, I can tell you that it tasted delicious too, we have had a fab day and although it was just me , my 3 munchkins , my brother and niece ( i have a very small family) it has been a fab day.

Have also managed 10p OP, 50p voice and 100 mysurvey points, almost at £3 again there. Have a few things on ebay, but will be listing one thing per evening this week.

my last day in work tomorrow, I cant wait, am in early and I will finish come mid day as it is a review day and I have negotiated to come in early and leave early while others are coming in 12-7pm. Plus I am not into big farewells, so this way I can just leave quietly. Then i will be getting into some serious decluttering and also decorating this summer, and get all those jobs done i have been putting off for a long time
  • Hello ladies! Sorry I haven't been around for a while. I got a bit under the weather and had to give myself a break. I've also got my driving test coming up on Friday and didn't want eveything to get on top of me.

I've been keeping up with the odd survey or two but not as much as I would of liked, the break was needed though!

I've been following the last couple days. Fab idea on the review challenge Elysia, can you put me down for 20 :)

Hope everyone is ok and the money making is going well x

That cake did look pretty awesome knit. Big bit is getting ace at that sort of thing. You can tell she practices a lot.You must be really proud.

Not done a lot, as the boys were quite tired this afternoon. Have been all day, but instead of going to sleep now, they are looking at books and still getting up and down. No doubt we'll have tears tomorrow about getting up.

I don't recognise the names on DY as being any of us, but oh well we tried. There are always other ways. I think Julie is pretty polly.

DH is working late, I will see what I get done, but I need to ring my mum as her chihuahua had 4 pups today. It was a caesarian, so I want to show a little support.

DH said he would be back about midnight, so I don't know how far I will get, but I'd best try and do something before collapsing in bed.

Well done on the crowns to the ladies that got them

Knit - glad your DD had a lovely birthday.

Well, I have done NO money making at all today and probably won't either. DH suggested a quick nip to the shops after picking me up from work. It should have taken less than an hour there and back but it took a lot longer. We were on a busy roundabout and about 10 cars in front of us a cyclist got runover. We didn't see it happen thankfully, but of course all the cars stopped. I could see people getting out of cars looking like they were helping, but then I realised only one lady was actually helping the cyclist, everyone else was milling around like they didn't know what to do! I left DH with DS and I went over to see if I could help. I ended up sitting with the cyclist trying to keep him conscious while we waited for the ambulance. It turns out the car had been going quite fast and he had gone right up onto the front and smashed all the windscreen and dented a lot of the metal at the top of the car. His head had taken the full force of the impact and he wasn’t wearing a helmet (WHY???!!!). He had a whopping great wound in his head that the other lady (who turned out to be a nurse - very handy!) was taking care of. He seemed okay and was talking to me, then he suddenly started to go unconscious. I was squeezing his hand and shouting his name but nothing. I was shaking like mad, I thought for a brief moment that he was dying in front of me. He came back round after a very short time but then he had totally lost his memory about what had happened. He asked me repeatedly what had happened, he couldn’t remember anything about his day at all. The ambulance and police all showed up at once, it was pretty quick really, just seemed to take forever at the time! He was conscious when he went into the ambulance so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for him.

Anyway, sorry to unload on here, it just keeps playing over and over in my mind and it helps a bit to write it down. I think I over analyse things, I’m full of ‘what ifs’ now.

oh Nicky what an awful situation. But you must be extremely proud of yourself for helping in the way you did, whatever the outcome I am sure the cyclist will be eternally grateful that you were there when he needed someone. Are you gong to be kept up to date with his progress? Im never quite sure how it works in these types of situations. Cyclists always do worry me when I am driving, they are so vulnerable, I drive so slowly when I am near one!

Money wise I managed an 85p survey today, if I can manage one a day that will do me hahaha

Well done everyone thats been doing the reviews. I wish I could focus long enough to do reviews but sadly thats not something Im good at at the minute!

Oh my goodness Nicky. That just sent a shiver down my spine. That is pretty much how I met DH as the same happened to him where he was cycling at about 30, and a car pulled out of a side street and he went over the bonnet and was in a state. I am always relieved he had a helmet on. It should be illegal if you ask me for people to be on the road without one.

You sound like you were a true angel, and it must have helped the nurse a lot to have you there helping to keep him awake.

I bet you are in a bit of shock yourself so please be really kind to yourself tonight and tomorrow to recover. I thought at first you were going to say you had been in an accident, and I am so relieved you were just held up.

    Take care.

Nicky - well done you hun. You ought to be very proud of yourself, and those people be utterly ashamed of themselves. I saw a pedestrain run over once, by a speeding car, All I could vision, for weeks was the sight of her. Hopefully he will be fine, you kept him conscious, and helped him stay alive, in my opinion. I've been watching that programme, 24 hours in an A & E dept, and they work miracles nowadays. :)

Michelle - that is so cute. I hope the little mummy is doing well. Has she been kept in overnight?

    Giggles - 85p a day is a lot over the year :)

Cornish - 20 it is then. I'll be checking, and keeping you on your toes. You've probably heard, we've all been feeling low, so don't hide, come on here, as we're all in the same boat. Almost five months until Christmas. Argggh.

Knit - I hope you have a good day tomorrow. I hope they appreciate all that you've done for the past nine years. I really admire teachers, you all do such a wonderful job. :)

Has anyone seen Legend around? I know she's had a bug, for quite a long time too. I hope she's alright.

I don't think I have seen her since the party for her DS. Probably still recovering, but she will turn up i'm sure.

knit - enjoy your last day hon. I kind of snuck out the back door too. I wouldn't have wanted a fuss either though. I hate those leaving speeches we always had to sit through.

Just had about 40 minutes with my mum. We haven't been round for a good few weeks as I thought the kids running round would be too much for the dog. Poor thing is lucky as she was in slow labour since Friday, my mum has been sat with her most of the time apart from when my sister did for a few hours one night. She just wasn't getting anywhere with it. Not surprised with 4 pups in such a small dog. They are all at home and quite lively, and she is taking to it quite well and feeding them. I bet my mum is loving it really. Can't wait to go and see them. The biggest relief is that they could get a caesarian through the day and not overnight as it was £400 today, but would have been £1000 overnight. Scary money. (I'm just hoping I don't fall in love and want one. :o)
