Well done Michelle. My sister loves writing, and enrolled on an evening course. As part of one of the assingments, she had to write a short story - less than 400 words, I think. Anyway to cut long story short. She sent it to Take a Break Mag and got it published - She got paid £150 I think. Could be more. It's worth a try.
I couldn't do it, I have no imagination. I have to write what I know about. Talking of which, another NEW review done today. Have posted it on both sites, so I'm up to three new ones (or is it four?) and have re-worked about five.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

WOW Samba - that is some sale. Well done you!!!
Post your referall link on the referalls board for best results hun. Someone here might take you up on the offer too. I've had a couple of free Graze trials, as if you used to go through quidco, you'd get the £1 for yourself. Not sure it's still on.
Post it on the referals board anyway - that's part of this months challenge. See if there's anything else, anyone can sign up to too. Post them on facebook too, you never know.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Elysia, I knew you would know. Thanks hunInfamy, infamy, they've all got it in infamy!!0 -
Thanks Elysia. I have always had an interest in writing and got a couple of pieces of poetry published many many years ago now. I have also had money from a newspaper for a short comment before that was published. Only about £15, but i was only about 16 at the time, so I thought it was brill.
I was saying something to DH last night about all these people here who respond so warmly to what I write in my diary when it sometimes seems so mediocre to me. I think maybe because I write so honestly, and with so much determination there. I said to DH years ago that I do want to write a proper fiction novel at some stage, and I guess all this reviewing is really challenging my skills.
Who knows when the kids go to school.
I also had visions of me selling some of my knit wear, so you never know. There might be a business there for me one day.0 -
only managed a 75p VO tonight, screened out of looneys, nothing on viva for me, screened out of what was on offer on OP. But 75p is better than nothing! Just willing some of my VO to clear now so I am redeem my next voucher haha
But did get 25 through from paypal for my ebay stuff I sold last week, this is after the postage amount. So happy with that.
Also sold a handful of the dvds I make over the weekend so just waiting for the money to come through from those, should be just over £30.
Planning to do a car boot last weekend of the month so please cross your fingers for better weather for me! haha0 -

Anyone waiting on Amazon vouchers from T, I just checked mine and had two waiting for me!! Usually been only getting one a month but two this month so only have one outstanding now. Just added them to my account and have nearly £90 in there now, that will buy most of my Christmas presents I am still outstanding.
You'd have thought they'd get the electronic ones processed quicker, I'm waiting for 4 sets of love to shop from them. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
A good start for me this morning. Managed a survey on vista and that has taken me to redeem again. Also did 3 on opoll now they finally have some paying ones again. Been up since 5am mind!! Someone I work with is in with his wife to have their baby induced and had no-one to look after their 2 1/2 yr old. Not good at saying no and so when they asked if I'd have him 6-6 I agreed. Poor little soul doesn't even know me but has been ok so far. Think it's going to be a long day mind as I have work tonight once someone else picks him up.
Legend hope you are feeling better.
Michelle glad you had a great day out.
Well done everyone else on your reviews etc.
Not a lover of reviews so not doing this one but still doing the make sure I do every survey. Have done lots of referrals mainly to my sister who asked me to but as of yet she doesn't seem to have done anything about them. Grrrrr Sorted out a fair bit of eby bits but missed the free listing this weekend, we had a gig sat night and weren't home till 3am and then sunday I was fit for nothing.
Take care all

Morning all
Havent qualified for any surveys this morning again. Will make a start on another review in a minute, that will be number 2. Need to pop to town to pay my cheque in. Not sure what else I am doing, no plans but ED is off work today so might see her for a bit.0 -
