elysia sorry to hear your sad news, will be thinking of you. hope your mum's op goes well
I have done a few surveys today but didn't keep track of how much they amounted to - I must be more organised!
ds1 wants to go on the school trip to France in October so will have to work extra hard to raise enough money to pay for it!
sorry to hear about all your toddler tantrums. my boys are 10 and 12 but their behaviour is still testing at times...saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

I heard a tip about putting the nappy on back to front so they couldn't undo the tape. Might be worth trying. Or put parcel tape/gaffa tape over the normal tape?
My DS2 used to take his nappies off when he did poos and try to get it down the loo, which is clever, but was so messy. He grew out of it. Potty training with him has been hard though. We started in February and he got chicken pox the same day. We then tried a couple of weeks later, and while he can do it well, when we are at home he has been having 4 or 5 sets of clothes a day which i think is on purpose. We are now down to a couple of genuine accidents today, but still not great. I despair about him being fully trained for starting nursery in September.
To get myself through it though, i just tell myself it is just a phase. Generally it is replaced by a new phase, but we will get there, and have fully functioning people one day.0 -
Sorry to hear that quite a few of you are having toddler tantrums. Sorry to hear about your sad news Elysia. Hope your mum's operation goes okay.
Just popped on to declare that I've achieved the £2.50 target today. Saved over £1.50 by listing items on a free listing day on eBay (really wasn't in the mood to do this). On the plus side one of my NPB paid up. :T Made the rest by doing clicks on cashback sites. Also did all the sponsored polls on 2Luna.0 -

Have been listing on eb again today. Not paid the extra 6p as it's things that I don't expect will do well, if I get the minimum I put it on for, I'll be happy. If they don't sell, they'll go towards a carboot later in the year. I've been on T too - all down to the oath - I avoided it before.
Well done on your bargains Rufus - and being so organised.

I might be AWOL a lot, this week and next, there's been a death in the family and also my mum goes into hospital for an op on Wednesday and is in for over a week, so I'll be around as and when I can, mostly on the evenings.

So sorry, and hope mum goes on ok, you take care too. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
NickyBo that’s great news not too long for you to wait.
Elysia all that will be a worry for you.
Lucky you going to see Take That
Legendmum I have to agree with you I am always broody when I see or hear about babies but spending a full day stuck in the house with the two boys fighting puts an end to it!
Got a busy day today but still hoping to fit some surverys in. Back to nursery for eldest son, he can’t wait. Got the last of the ebay things to post as well must not forget. Big clean up this morning, yuckGC 2015: Aug £272.21 /£300 Sept £112.41 /£300

Morning all,
Elysia - sorry to hear about your sad news, and I hope everything goes alright with your Mum's op too, hope you have a nice time at the Take That concert, I have heard it is a brilliant show xx
Didnt have any surveys this morning to do, but might get some during the day. I am going to WH Smiths this morning to have a look at their photo albums though and hoping they are half price like on their website, if they are then I will get one for my brothers photos for his birthday and that will save me more than the £2.50.
Nicky, my Son's GF had her first scan last week and he sent me a photo of it on my phone. I can believe how clear they are these days lol, when I had a scan for my youngest all you could see really was a blob, I couldnt make anything out even though the doctor was saying what was what. Dont think they did scans when the other two were expected.0 -
Well I have made my £2.50 for today! Well technically £3.10! Had 2 checks in the post from Sharwoods because I went on there site and filled in this survey thing as to why I didnt like 1 of there sauces! They refund you the money that the sauce costs and send a coupon for money off another! Thing is the sent me 2 letters exactly the same! Im not complaining though!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Morning all,
Hope your mum has a safe operation, I hope you can manage to go to Take That without too many problems hun.
Thanks for the reassurance ladies, it certainly helps looking at it that my daughter is going through som sort of growth spurt or development, she has been doing lots of new things recently so it does tie in quite nicely
Clairylulu and Legendmum, completely the same as you both, hearing of all these lovely pregnancies and newborns and get completely broody and then my one will be a complete terror and think just the one is enough lol.
Congrats Nickybo, that is great news!!
Michelle - She's not taking her nappy off as such, just scooping out the contents. Now I feel sick and it's only 9am
I'm sure it will pass as quickly as she started doing it. I found the insistance of being naked at all times stage quite frustrating too
Bunbun - hope you can raise the funds for the school trip.
Rufus - hope you can find the photo albums in tore, usually the offers are the same online as instore.
Going to blitz today and see how it goes, determined to make some money today after having to forfeit yesterday. In fairness the internet was down for he best part of the evening. I also received my assignment marks yesterday and I am happy with the result, I did make a silly mistake, easily done with the distraction of families and life, I can learn from my mistakes and make the next one a great one so feeling very positive about it all now.
Had a lovely pamper evening last night too, tried some new roducts and found some great ones and ones that I am allergic too. Have decided I have way too much so I need to sell some of it so ebay here we come
Comping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0 -
Morning all,
Sorry to hear your sad news Elysia and hope your mum's op goes well. My sister went to see Take That on Saturday and said they were fantastic.
I earned £10 over the weekend doing a soup taste and survey and one of my e bay items sold for £1.04 - it nearly went to the charity shop so that is better than nothing.
Having a relaxing day today before the boys are back to school tomorrow, will try and fit in a few surveys as I have been neglecting them lately
Hope you all have a good dayIt's easier to get forgiveness than to ask permission
