Claire you are not alone hun! My OH gives in and says you cant let him cry and then takes him downstairs! So DS HAS to fall asleep on the sofa and then gets taken to bed! He is a big lad too so quite a lump to carry upstairs especially when hes a deadweight!
Aspella so nice to hear from you! Sorry to hear about your bad times but surely the only way is up?!
Well I am on my second mini bottle of wine because today my child has turned into a GREMLIN! He is bonkers and terribly naughty but he is now asleep and thank God I can have some peace! OH is off on another mission to Kent to buy a digger? SOOOO nice to have some peace!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

My kids both thankfully go to bed quite well now, but we do hear them about for ages after and we just ignore them. We went through a long phase of having to sit with them while they fell asleep and that was hard work as we would inevitably fall asleep too on their floor.
Be persistent, as once you get into bad habits with them it is a nightmare to break. We go now for tire them out and leave them to it. They know once they have had their story we don't want to see them down the stairs again. Works most of the time.
aspella nice to see you. Hope all the problems get sorted so you can get on again.
surv. n.work is good for me tonight. I jsut managed 2 x 80p surveys, and one x 75p, plus a valued opinions one for 75p. About time, as there has been nothing else all day.0 -
Well that was a nightmare! After posting my comment went to have a drink and somehow, dont ask me how, I spilt the wine all ove me, the sofa, the cushions and up the wall! Dont know how but I managed to miss the laptop! I really think I need another glass now and will use a straw so I dont miss my GOB!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Well done Michelle.
I've done a couple on T. Listed on ebay (one has a watcher already, they only went live an hour ago). I also saved £3 as I ordered DD Gnomeo from Best Buy, instead of getting it from Sainsburys like I promised DD. She'll have to wait an extra day, that's all. plus it was 8% quidco, so saved even more.
Will head over to Sur Netwk now, so thanks for the tip off, and then will head over to C or DU if I have the energy.
Legend - What a waste of wine. :rotfl: Glad you didn't ruin the lappie, is the furniture OK?I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Lovely to hear Esmer is doing well in her new home and is settling in nicely, glad to have you back Aspella, sorry to hear things have all gone a bit wrong recently, it definately seems to be something in the air doesn't it. Things will oick up, onwards and upwards from here hun x
We are soon going to be going through the bed training stage, oh what fun that is going to be lol. Thing is as long as she's safe in her room we will let her get on with it and put her back to bed at regular intervals if she still hasn't decided to sleep IN her bed, I think she will be quite good with it though. A trick that my parents used on my younger brother and sister when they were slightly older was to put a motion detector doorbell up in the corner just outside their room's, that way if they came out they knew instantly. It certainly worked!! They did try a few times to mission impossible it and ran like te wind back in their rooms if they set it off lol. Is that a little cruel?!
Struggling to make £1 more today to hit £2.50, im only 12 points off a redeem on mysurvey grrrr. Will have to catch up on all the surveys to see what I can do.
If anyone has old phones, cameras, ipods, games consoles, sat navs or laptops I noticed this moneysavingexpert site which lets you put in make/model and will show you who pays the most. Might be worth a quick look if you are thinking of upgrading/selling/ebaying etc.
