    Happy New Year everyone!!

Well I have started off by signing up to a few more survey sites (I'm on Toluna as RachelGully if you wish to add me). I have also signed up to open a Direct Saver Account with RBS for all my Thrifty Gifty Savings :)

I have loads to go on eBay too....so will put those up later once the children have gone to bed and I have got the baby settled

Hi Piglet i am a jewellery maker, i have just been doing it for myself and friends but i am going to start trying to sell it this year, if you pm me with any questions i will try and help you, i have just started a blog and plan to do beginner things on there but the other great place is youtube for tutorials, there are monthly mags too from smiths which are ok, or your local library will have some books ;-)

Thanks susie - I'm interested too.

I made jewellery for the first time, for presents for Christmas. They weren't brilliant but they weren't rubbish either, if I say so myself.

I can't wait to look at your blog and see what you've made.

Toothfairy have sent you a referral, well I think I have!
I really dont get survey network though because I click on the surveys and then either not suitable or get sent to a different survey site and end up joining that 2! Last night I clicked through to a site called reward tv or something? I havent made any money yet neither? Does it take time to clear or is it automatic? Dont think I like this 1! lol

I completed my first survey yesterday - If you remember when I logged back in I had loads of out of date surveys. The money was in my account this morning. Only 75p but it's a start.

I`m on survey network , seems ok.

but is opinion world just giving pennies to charity, i`ve done two surveys, money gone to charity, they dont say how much

pammy you made me laugh at description of bingoport, just to add its 10 posts a day for 1000 points. posts must be over 50 characters long. And you find once you start saying something it ends up longer as well, if not just put "good luck on all future games " or something similar on the end ...

    savvybunny - pm`d you

Well done everyone – you all sound so motivated at the moment – long may it continue!

    Savvy – just do a bit at a time for ebay – it’s ok. It’s not a race, it’s a challenge.

Nicky and Pammy – brilliant idea about doing the writing for Toluna in Word. I do that for on here, but never thought of it for toluna.

Stepmum – Toluna is boring at times but the points mount up quickly if you are prepared to put in the effort.

Rufus – so sorry to hear you’ve had problems with some of the surveys. I think I’ll stick at it for the time being, but I’ve signed up to so many survey sites this week, I don’t know whether I’m coming or going.

Mum2one – well done on getting some listings started. You’re right, 99p is better than the nothing you would get if you binned them. That’s what I used to do, but not now. ;)

Well done Rufus on your 2 pound coins – I’ve only had one :(

Pinkfluffybabe – woohoo 3000 points is a great headstart

Welcome Muffin – I hope you are Ok. This money making business is addictive.

Legend – so sorry to hear about the car tax – grrrr. There’s always something.

Kirsty – don’t worry about posting those instructions. We are all here to help each other ;) What a shame about your car too.

Mswan – woohoo a £10 cash in. Did you put it on your spreadsheet yet?

    Hiya – saver Natalie. *waves*

Susan – what are/were you going to do with that giraffe?

Zangles and savvy – did you get your referrals? With Opinion People – you have to have a special invite – which you can get via Survey Network. I’ve still not had a survey from OP and been with them three weeks now, but I’m hoping things get better now Christmas and New Year is (almost) out of the way.

Well done Diddly – keep us updated how they are doing. I love it when you get watchers and bids for things.

Savvy – I hope you find the shop and scan email. I wouldn’t mind joining that one.

Well done Mama-G on getting the bank account sorted. I did one too – My emergency fund. OH pays all the bills, and has a ‘little’ emergency fund. But I don’t think the car will last too long, so I’m hoping to put a bit away here and there for that too.

Hiya Lady four – How is your money making going. Keep us informed if you have any probs let us know – we are here to help each other. :)

Phew - long post. Sorry I bored you to death but I had so much to say. It's brilliant having this thread up and running again. If only I could keep up. :rotfl:

Thank you to susie and susan will check those things out, lots to keep me going, lol. I actually attempted some before xmas, not brill but not bad either, and friend comment on a necklace and earrings set i wore last night and put an order in for her bday pressie this year, so not bad going. Having seen all your brilliant blogs, have decided I would like to get one sorted out this year, if anyone can point me in the right direction, sorry to be a pain, I'm not very computer minded but would love to show everyone my makes throughout the year! If I manage any!

You all seem very motivated, does everything slow down after a few weeks or do you keep this pace up all year, not sure I could keep up, lol.

Piglet don't worry - things do die down. People drop off so to speak, but as long as you're still doing your best - that's all that counts.

Everyone is so motivated at the moment! It's hard to keep up. It'll be fine, just do your best.

Piglet you need to go to blogger.com to set up a blog (well that's the best anyway) then you decorate how you like by searching free backgrounds in google (shabby blogs is nice). Let us know when you're up and running or need any help - I have a blog too. I'm not very computer minded either - it took me two weeks to figure it out because I refused to ask DD1 for help. ;) but it can be done in minutes.
