Hi Piglet i am a jewellery maker, i have just been doing it for myself and friends but i am going to start trying to sell it this year, if you pm me with any questions i will try and help you, i have just started a blog and plan to do beginner things on there but the other great place is youtube for tutorials, there are monthly mags too from smiths which are ok, or your local library will have some books ;-)
I have followed you on your blog (it puts my name up instead of my username), looking forward to seeing your makes. I have made the odd bracelet here and there, mostly the charm like ones. I have loads of beads left over to make some more bits and pieces when I feel like it.0 -
You all seem very motivated, does everything slow down after a few weeks or do you keep this pace up all year, not sure I could keep up, lol.
Lol, this is a pretty fast moving thread. We do have our quieter weeks and it's always busiest for the first few weeks when everyone joins and introduces themselves. But if last year is anything to go by, it will stay rather busy most of the year.
I just found a bag of things I sorted for Ebay last year but never got round to listing. I'll make sure I do it this time!Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -

BP is quite easy when you get the hang of it and writing posts of substance just means you cant really post the same thing over and over again. So just say well done to the winners, and better luck next time to the moaners, and go to the slots board and console the people that whine about losing all the time etc. You will soon learn your way around. I normally do it when I play on auto. Play when the guaranteed pot is on at 8pm which is 400/600/1000 per game. If you post every day and play then you can get a redeem every two weeks even if you dont win anything.
As we had the advent calendar last month I managed to win a few games and redeemed four times - £20 :j0 -
Sorry to post non money making related but I know from reading last year that you ladies are lovely and just feeling a bit in shock at the moment and need to clear my head.
My cousin had his throat slashed last night and although he is going to be ok the whole family are very shaken and angry. He, his wife and kids (late teens/early 20's) we're on their way home from their nye night out when they passed a house with a domestic going on outside. A husband was beating the wife and my cousin who we call the gentle giant stepped in to stop things. The husband ran into the house and then out again with a knife and cut my cousins throat. He lost a lot of blood and the docs have said he is lucky to be alive, he had to have an op today because the cut is so jagged but he is now awake and moaning about not getting his new years day roast dinner. lol .It is so scary to think that something like this happens so suddenly, we could have lost him all through doing the right thing. It is no wonder that so many people just walk by things nowadays, I have tbh I would think twice about helping someone now, I hope I still would but I'll always be more wary.
I just feel really weird now, all very surreal.
Thanks for the chance to air it.

OMG stepmum - thats awful my heart goes out to you and your family, what a shock , hope everything goes ok soon.
savvybunny - i dont use that one, i use this one and if the principle is the same than you go onto blogspot, click design and a window opens up. Click add a gadjet , then html and copy and paste the code of the background you want.
I used the templates on blogspot in the beginning because it all confused me.
hopes this help if not someone who uses the one you want will help you
nicky - i commented on your opinion on toluna and then couldnt find it so commented again, it looks a bit silly, but I`m learning...Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
Wow, just managed to catch up from page eight. It took a while but I got there. You are all doing so well I feel ashamed. I blame the other half he is still of work (He's a postman so usually works straight after christmas but this year he managed to get it off as holiday the first year ever so we have been lazy!Enjoyed the family time with my two little boys though.) I will make sure I work extra hard from Tuesday when he goes back! I promise.
I use dooyoo a lot but have had a month off so really need to get back in the swing of reviewing again. I actually really enjoyed it. I did really well on it last year.
Thankyou Elysia for a great first challenge. I especially like the shopping one that is a great idea and will start that on my first shop of the year tomorrow.
So sorry to hear about your cousin stepmum that is awful. Your cousin is a gentleman there isn't enough people out there like him. I hope he has a speedy recovery.GC 2015: Aug £272.21 /£300 Sept £112.41 /£300

Have pm'd you savvy - I hope it's easy to understand.
Stepmum - you come here and tell us what you like. He is a hero and your family should be proud. I'm so sorry he's been injured though. What is the world coming to? It frightens me sometimes.
Susan - I'm glad he's arriving soon Gerry Giraffe). We could never have anything like that here. I even had a plant nicked once out of our front garden and Mum's had all her hanging baskets vanish. Grrrr
I made a redeem on Bingoport last night - so when I got up this morning I only had 29 points left. I've done my 10 posts this morning, so I'll be there at 8 to play the bingo.
Twinklestar - I joined Ruby bingo - and didn't win a penny so well done you.
I also joined 888 ladies through Bingoport last night. I won over £70 but as I was playing with bonus money I couldn't withdraw. You have to deposit £30 and play £30 of YOUR cash, (not including any bonus money) so I just played all night until it was gone - I had fun though - shame I couldn't cash out. Anyway - beware of 888 ladies bingo - you won't be able to easily get your money out.
Yesterday I also did my weekly shop and have put £5 in my Xmas bank account - so now I'm up to £135 saved already.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
