Not really sure how you go about it elysia. I am a memeber of shopping.com but where do you go to write the guides, sorry if I seem thick. Not really used this site much.

Has anyone had any of their shopping guides published yet? I keep looking and mine haven't. I know it says it can take up to 72 hours but i am impatient, and i kind of need to know my guides are good enough really now.

I have written 3, so i will try to get my butt in gear and do another 2 tonight if i can.

I also want to do another dy review, and copy across another ciao review. And i have an inbox of survey network invites. I feel behind. :rotfl:

michelle you are doing fine - don't worry. ;) Not had any of mine published yet, and I did my first one within the hour of it being announced.

Claire - Here is a list of things. You MUST put a link to at least one of these items in your guide. It's basically a long review - but you need to try and give any hints and tips, where can you buy it, why buy this one and not one from another brand etc. Put in lots of links as these are like mini adverts and will make people buy the stuff you're talking about.

Here's the guide to writing a good guide and here's some of the latest ones so you can see what to do.

Write it in word so you know you have over 400 words, and can spell check it - then when you are on shopping.com and logged in, you will see shopping lists in the top left, this will be your page with any reviews on. On the list on the left hand side, it will say my reviews, and my guides, or write a guide. just click on that and it is straight forward.

Once you've done your first one, then you go into the guides section in approx the middle of the screen, and open that tab up to do it again.

It's worth a go - You may find, before he publishes them, you get it sent back to you to add more links or something. We're still waiting to see. I don't even think he reads every one, I suspect he only reads the first one to see if you're up to the correct standard.

I'll try to relax Elysia. I noticed that my first guide has had one read, and it then stressed me a little as i thought if it had been read by admin and it was ok they would publish it. I have found another 3 things i think i can do, so i think i will do that tonight. It pays more than the other stuff.

Well done Claire, I will have a look later at your review xx

I did my photos and have uploaded a few bits to my Folksy shop. Need to sort out how to put a link on my blog now and then make up the new Facebook page.

WOW Rufus - you've done well. Can you post me a link on FB. I'd love to see. :D

Just came on to say - there were loads of NV surveys on viva not long ago - I got screened out of three, but qualified for two. :)

ETA: just redeemed for £10 on opinion outpost, and just got an invite to the MR T survey site. :D I also received my first lunch vouchers today too. :)

yay my first guide is published on shopping too :D. Will try and aim to do the other four whilst watching Apprentice later! How amazing would that payment be?! Its only fair you put the time in for it. But even if you spent an hour on each one, £10 for an hours work? More than I get at my actual job! Am trying to convince my friend to join and do some guides so hopefully if she does then I can get the £10 referral too!

I never really paid attention to emails from Viva as I thought they were just like a daily thing sent out. But I had literally checked viva a few mins before and knew there were no surveys for me when I got the email tonight and I noticed it said I could earn £2. So thought I would click it and how surprised was I to see there actually was new surveys! Teaches m to pay more attention, and would you believe it, I earned £2 too! haha Just need £1 more now to redeem for the second time :D

Telephone interview went well yesterday and they had invited me for a face to face interview by the end fo the day. Its at 3pm on friday so everyone please cross your fingers for me at that time!!!! If I were to get the job I would start monday too! How amazing is that! I have to expect to be there about 2 hours on friday (eek) and have to wear a full suit (double eek!).

Rufus ; Well done you sound like you are really organised :D. Looking forward to seeing some pictures :D
Claire: It seems abit daunting at first but it really is easier than it sounds. Elysias advice is great :D I looked at some other guides too before I wrote mine to get more of an idea. If you click on Community you will see some guides near the bottom.

My first two published too. How good is that?

Rufus - your things are wonderful. :D. I'm so inspired now. I may have a go and list some things there. I've been looking at some of the things other sellers have made too, and I want it all.

Good news about the interview Giggles. I was wandering how you got on earlier. You'll do well, don't worry.
